- Today is Embarkation Day for the 2023 DVC Member Cruise! Not only is it Sara's first Disney cruise, it's the first time staying Concierge for both of us and it was a lot in all the best ways! We then sail away and have dinner at Arendelle and OLAF is there!

My family and I are taking our first Disney cruise in May 2024 and staying in concierge. We are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and I have watched tons of videos about the Wish. Disney Cruise Line must know that every time i watch one of your videos i spend an hour or so looking at cruises to book. You influence me, for reals. So question, does the Concierge Lounge have adults only areas? Im loving that drinks are included and there is a dedicated area! Also you and Sara are so lovely to watch, just dreamy, classy ladies. 🤩

that was fun reliving the fantastic member cruise. We were down the hall from you (13004) and just a few people in front of you when we boarded the ship the first day. My friend is very tall and i'm not but am identifiable by my very curly dark hair. You can see us at about 4:30 in the video.

Wow, great bag of gifts to kick off the cruise. I wish they had given tote bag like that on the 2019 DVC cruise. Bon voyage! Can't wait to see all the fun!

I always enjoyed watching your videos and I even watch them over and over again seeing your joy reminds me so much of why our family became dvc members. One thing puzzles me though and I have not done the math. Can you share and discuss the details on how a dvc member can still be on a dvc cruise and yet save money? I've heard from the grapevine that it's not worth it to use the points directly to a DVC cruise. Thanks!
It's absolutely NOT a good use of points to use them for a cruise but you don't HAVE to use points! Sara and I paid cash. You just have to be a DVC member with the blue card in order to book.
I miss the Wish! Love that ship. What a beautiful peek at concierge - definitely will try in the future. Something about the little gold touches throughout the room and on the stationary feels like travel in a different era!

Love this. I always wanted to see a dvc cruise. The “overwhelmed. I was talking to myself” was so funny. When disney is doing it well, one is overwhelmed.

Did you call your room attendant or put in an app request for the trundle bed to be made up? I wouldn’t have slept on a sofa bed when there’s a better option (especially at those prices)!
I was very comfortable where I was and slept great so didn’t even think about it until later
I’m currently binging all your videos and just wanted to drop by and say how incredible you and your videos are! I’m planning to do either a Halloween cruise or visit Disney on Halloween 2024. Not sure which one I wanna do just yet! It’ll be my first time visiting a Disney resort or cruise as well!

We have just sailed on the dream and our non concierge room on deck 10 was very similar to the layout of yours our daughter slept on the pull down bed she said it was comfy

I think for what you pay for any Disney cruise you should always get concierge level service and perks.

I always thought by staying concierge you have a more glamorous room, so I was a little confused when you showed the room and they looked like the regular ones. So my logical guess is there are different levels but you do get the perks of concierge? I would love the perks myself🤗
Nope, the concierge rooms all look like this one unless you're in a suite.

You can use points or pay cash and you only get the gifts and special entertainment for the DVC chartered member cruises which happen usually once a year

I ended up sleeping so well on the other bed I never did have them make it up! And no, many (not all but many) of the deluxe family verandah rooms have them

How was deck 13? My cruise on the Treasure will be deck 13 (so we could be near my Mom in her handicap Accessible cabin.) Was there a lot of noise from above in your cabin?

If you get it from the concierge lounge - then yes, those are all included!

I mean, as is typical anywhere in the hot summer, the areas that have AC are quite cool.
