This is a GM 8.0! The last best and last conventional headed big block GM had there name on... no its not a 8.1! lets disassemble it and learn all about it! This one has been remanufactured and bored .020 over. so now its a 491.

Love big block builds! I stamp my rods and caps on the same side by the parting line to keep them together and oriented. Will this engine hit a dyno to see how much fire that beast breathes?

as of right now i do not plan on a dyno run for the engine. I need to get the race truck back running! Mabey a chassis dyno same day?

luck of the draw. they are LP engines came in busses and used for well pumps and generators, guy i know said he had this thing so i bought it from him.
