How do you know what type of engineer you want to be when you grow up

Research and experience can't be beat when it comes to knowing what you like. Look up some info about each type of engineering (I have a video on a few types), take a class, read a book, or watch a video on one type if you can. If you could even reach out to an engineer in that field that would be great as well. The sooner you start looking and asking the sooner you will have a better idea, but above all don't be afraid to change if you don't like what you have picked.
