I had been waiting all day for M3. I'm glad the little hawk finally fledged! This Cornell Live Cam has provided hours of joy for me and has also been a wonderful aid for stress relief. Watching these chicks grow up with the excellent parenting of Big Red and Arthur has truly been inspiring. Thank you all at Cornell Lab of Ornithology for your hard work and dedication to our feathered friends.
🎉🎉🎉🙌🙌🙌 Congratulations, our precious M3!!! Enjoy this big, wide world!!! Lovely youngster!! 🥰🥰🥰 Fly fly fly, have fun out there, our sweet little last-hatched! ☀️☀️☀️🌿🌿🌿😚😚😚
Goodness, this made me emotional! Was always a bit worried about M3. Well done little one! So cool all the kids are together! Well done babies, parent hawks and Cornell for sharing this wonderful journey from the beginning. First time on this channel and have enjoyed this immensely. Hawks have a special place in my heart, have had many close encounters. 🥰
Dear Cornell Lab Bird Cams, I have been enthusiastically watching the red-tailed hawk babies for several years now, it was so beautiful to see the youngest finally fledge and reunite with his/her siblings. Thank you so much for running these live cams, they certainly capture priceless moments in nature. I have this burning question for you and hope to hear back if it's possible. I noticed this year bird banding was not done on the babies, any particular reason??.... Thank you!
How great to see M3 take the first giant leap to start life off the nest. Such a powerful first flight. Parents have done a great job. Divine moment see all 3 united to begin their first night together off the nest. Have great lives you three masterpieces!! Godspeed.
Congratulations M3! I will miss you M3 (mini BR) and the rest of the kids, but you held a special place in my heart. Fly high M's, great job BR and Arthur!
Amazing camera work 👏 It's absolutely wonderful to watch this precious fledgling figuring out its world. This yr I was blessed to have watched mockingbird, house Sparrow and cardinal fledglings in my back and front yards on LI. Thanks for This channel and all you do for birds at Cornell! 🦅
I just happened to be listening to Emmanuel Pahud's "Romance" ops 37 by Saens Saint. It lined up perfectly to the beauty of M3's flight and reunion. Thank you for this video.
🦜M3, yes, it's a big world out there with all kinds of noises, lights, movements. You will get use to it but be careful with the upcoming fireworks 🎆 ~ be brave, don't be scared!
Welcome to the real world! You'll face plenty of trials and tribulations, but I know, from watching you for the past 3 months, you're strong! The world is your oyster, or should I say rabbit! 😍😍😍
This is absolutely beautiful! Some of the most profound words I've ever heard. Yknow, sometimes I myself feel like M3, left behind by the rest of my family. Alone and lost in the world. His (or her) story is an inspiration to me. God bless M3

Fantastic job M3! Thanks so much to Jenn for catching this on the 'big cam'. Glad Ferris was on campus to catch all the action as well.
When M3 hopped up on to the railing earlier I had a feeling s/he was getting ready to go - yay for M3! 😊

So glad I saw this live....I was worried about this sweet one...I shouted a big WOO HOO when he took off! God speed, babies!
Great first flight! Congrats to all three - may they live long and prosper!
This is great news, I have trouble watching active nests because of all the things that could go wrong.
Beautiful! They must use a lot of energy the first few days of flight.
Great fledge!!! 🤗
Just seeing this as I have been traveling. M3 I knew you could it!
So cool
Wonderful news. Thank you
Absolutely beautiful 💕

👍🏻
Won’t be long and he will be the terror of all the rodents and cottontails in his territory 💘💘💘
I knew you could do it kiddo! It was so great to see all three Ms gathered together. I wonder if that’s why M3 flew so far?
What treasure!
Was it the parents "talking" to them from above when all 3 babies were last in the nest together....about an hour before M3 fledged?
That wing thing takes some practice.
So, do their parents abandon them now, or do they continue to support them for a while?
Support.

Why is one lying down?
"Wait, you don't have food?"
What an awkward place to land! haha

Beautiful
How cute is that! M3's motivation to fledge was to rejoin the siblings. 🥹 ❤❤❤
