Niko.....you freakin nailed it AGAIN! What amazes me about you bro....is your drums are all tuned precise and all your cymbal crashes and hi hat work......is precisely the way it sounds on the real song itself! That's amazing and you appear to be young.....you my drumming mad man my friend......will be in the LIMELIGHT someday with your freakin awesome drumming skills! Can't wait for next video.......
Thank you so much!! I tune my snare and toms every time I record a new album and I use Ableton Live Light 10 to edit the original song I use in a way that you only here my drums on the cover :)
There are 3 things seriously wrong with this video. 1.) It was waaaaay too short. 2.) I could only give it one thumbs up. 3.) It's 4 years old and only has 7.3K views. You deserve a really great audience.
Cant really say anything else other then perfectly done! Very well played Niko! Can we get a Niko Freestyle, improvisational, drum solo shred session! lol... Just raw Niko tearing it up!? Just a thought! Thanks buddy!
@@Progdrummernb You're welcome buddy and Thanks for the consideration of it. I know you have your agenda of videos but it would make a great filler in between!
I'm going to subscribe in case it happens. If it does, can it please be this track-but where you set up a separate kit with only the pieces you actually use in the song?
Old vid but u know me now lol. Hell of cover my friend ... only 1 "stick click" i heard crossing over hehe but terrific. 1 year ago ... can u still whip it?
Niko, u're awesome man! Great cover. I have only a question, listen to drums isolated versión of the songs, don't u think that Neil hits the kick with the snare in for example min 1:15 ?
It'd be great to have a diagram of your drum set. Or at least the drum and cymbal sizes/types. If I could afford it I think I'd have one just like it tomorrow. Down to the placement of the ride cymbal and everything. EDIT: Okay, I guess that picture from the FB page will suffice. lol
A few questions 1: Are the toms single headed or double headed? 2: What snare batter side head are you using? 3: What snare side head are you using? 4: Can you provide a link with all of the information on your whole kit if people are curious?
My guesses: 6 inch rototom, 8 inch rototom, 10 inch rototom, 12 inch rack tom, 13 inch rack tom, 14 inch rack tom, 14 inch floor tom, 16 inch floor tom Left: 16 inch floor tom, 18 inch floor tom
NOW THAT'S A DRUM SET!! Great jamming my dude.

HELL YES!!!
Amazing detail! Even down to the first cymbal hit - which is choked.
Are you certain you have enough cymbals?
you should give us a tour of your kit
I will ;) I think in about one or two weeks :)
Ridiculously good playing as always! Do some tutorials please, this way we have a possible chance of catching up to your skill level! 😊
Thanks a lot!! Good idea, I will think about it

Awesome job! Impressive! Pity the videos miss the last 2 seconds.
Thanks a lot!!

How are you getting the double bass at 2:15??
Fantastic cover expertly done, any chance of porcupine tree or the police?
Thanks!! Not planned but I will think about it ;)

Great but why did you cut off the last 3 seconds of the song?
Thanks! Dont know why, but the video would have been blocked because of this 3 seconds so I cut them off
Pfffftt.... only three cowbells...
9 ;)
Classic case of over-drumming. The song is not about you or the drums Pal. Stick twirlers just never get that.
Soooooo twirling your sticks = Over drumming?
