- In this episode, we are testing the Philips 7000 and comparing it to the BG7025 and OneBlade Pro. For those of you interested in purchasing one, I can recommend checking out Philips' website, where I was actually able to buy it on sale with a whopping 20% discount, resulting in 60 dollars. What's noteworthy is that it's half the price compared to the stores.
Solid review man
Thank you , im glad you liked it! This gives me fuel/energy to make my next video! have a great day!
Good video, I bought this trimmer three days ago just waiting delivery
Thank you very much. I hope it turns out to be a successful purchase, as it's hard to find a trimmer with so many accessories in that price range. Best regards/Philip
Update??
Great video !
Thank you so much for the feedback! You made my day!
Cool review
Thanx! Glad that you enjoyed it
great video , but i have been using a Philips trimmer with the same attachment mechanism and i initially thought it would break soon , but 5 years later its still crisp and fits well , my 5 year old philip trimmer still works fine but i still bought a 7000 series yesterday
That sounds reassuring. I've had some bad luck with these kinds of things, but if it lasts for 5 years, it really is a good value trimmer. Thank you for sharing and for your nice comment. Best regards, Philip
Update? How does the mini foil and eyebrow attachments work? Are they good?
@@BobRoss-wm3lc yes , the eye brow attachment works really well to get a good trim of the eye brow and the mini foil body too is great and very safe
@@Enigmasuhail ok thank you
What about the nose hair attachment? I have the series 5000 and it was a disappointing experience. Whats your review on the nose hair trimming feature of this 7000 series?
No, I haven't tried it as I'm not fond of using that type of trimmer. It gives me an uncomfortable feeling, so unfortunately, I can't answer your question. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they are similar. Regards, Philip.
Hi i just lost mine (mine is 19in 1)foil attachment spring and i want to shave like 6 days in week (maybe 7) if i use body attachment on my face it can be shave clean? Or wich attachment do you reccomend for clean shave
Hi @mustiboy6506 ! That was a difficult question to answer. There was a person who commented that according to the manual's recommendation, you shouldn't use the body groomer part on the face, which I haven't personally verified. I don't think the result would be satisfactory, and I become a bit uncertain about whether it's wise to use it almost every day. I myself tend to get irritated skin if I do it every day. In that case, it might be better to invest in a proper shaver. You'll simply have to try it out and see if it works. Otherwise, Philips usually offers spare parts, so it might be worth checking out their website or contacting customer support; I think i found the right part and it cost around 18 dollar (www.philips.se/c-p/CP1563_01/multigroom-series-7000-rakhuvud-med-skaerblad). Double-check with the shaver you have, because it's a jungle when it comes to all the series numbers and model years, etc. Unfortunately, I can't access the American Philips website because my computer insists on logging into the Swedish site. As I said, double-check it. I hope I managed to provide some guidance, but it's difficult to answer since we're all different and therefore get different results. Good luck! Feel free to reach out if you have more questions! /Philip
@@Philip.315 thank you so much for help
The one blades 360 design is far better for going around the face for a trim. I think the difference is you're trying to cut a lot of hair which would be unusual for most people using the one blade. Also ideally you're supposed to trim down long hair because trying to shave it
Hi @user-tx4wj7qk4t, Thank you for your comment. I can partly agree with you, but the fact is that the OneBlade actually has a distance of up to 10 mm, so it feels like they've tried to design a product that should be able to handle a bit more length. However, my beard in this video might have been a bit to long. But I recall that at the end of the video, I recommend the product for those who want shorter beards and good for more detailed shaving. I hope the video gave you something. Have a great day. Best regards, Philip.
Apologies, I thought this comment was under my OneBlade video. At the end of the video, I mention that it's more suitable for shorter beards. Sometimes it gets a bit confusing with all the comments. Take care.
Which one do you advise for clean shaves?
Tough question, maybe the OneBlade. But if you find a good deal on the 5000 model so that there isn't much of a price difference, I think the 5000 model is more worth it considering what you get for the money. However, if you prioritize simplicity, then the OneBlade might be a better choice. I am currently editing a video about the Braun Series X vs. OneBlade Pro, spoiler alert, I prefer the X model (Xt5200) for two simple reasons: the price range (cheaper) and better edge trimming. But as I said, this is based on what I think works for me, which might be different for someone else. Good luck with your purchase! Feel free to reach out if you have more questions.
