After all, a win rate on thrifty rounds of 25% by two different teams are both quite good, but if one team has a 40% overall win rate and the other has a 60% win rate, their success on thrifty rounds should feel very different.

@@deffective8671 Yay’s solid but he wasn’t needed for the team hence becoming a problem just by taking a spot. They filled his spot with someone that completed the roster. It’s crazy how no one believed them when they dropped yay including me but it turns out there really was just role issues.
yay was a chamber one trick, and he tried to forcefully play chamber on the 2nd map vs drx and completely flopped because guess what...chamber meta is over and he is not good anymore. Only thing chamber provides is a limpdick slow, a personal sherrif, a op - can you tell that its mostly selfish util? nothing to help the team. So when yay cannot perform and he did not perform vs drx they lost.
This is why Shorty got massive nerfs after being basically unchaged for most of the game's life. They lowered the price too much but then nerf the gun into being unplayable because of it. When all they had to do was just raise the price to like 300 or 350.

I have an idea on how to counter cloud 9 economy, they love light shields and light buys, so that means vandal is not as effective and if the enemy team doesn't buy heavy shields they are doomed against stingers and sheriffs, phantom could work against c9 but it is still too expensive especially when paired with heavy shields, so what can we do? Glad you didn't ask, guardian can 2 shot the body on lightshield opponents and costs 2250 creds, allowing for more constant heavyshield usage while still keeping a potent weapon, and if you pair heavy guardians plus buckys you have a strong defense against these kind of eco rounds
