Making Baquetas for playing the berimbau

There are many ways to make baquetas. This video shows how to make them like dowels or long tenons, using a custom purpose-built jig that acts just like a big pencil sharpener. Not a new idea, but one that works well enough once the blade is adjusted properly.
The advantage of having a jig like that is to be able to use various types of wood instead of just the ones that are sold as dowels pre-cut. It's also a lot cheaper.
