Torvill and Dean are perfection. No matter what the choose to dance it is always amazing. The judges' names already had their minds made up. It infuriates me to this day.
Eyes n brains show us that Torvill n Dean are soooo much better in technical n artistic levels n judges need to be held accountable for their obvious prejudices..when it is soooo obvious..fairness, n be happy Skating has such a couple to raise the bar..

Nie ma,nie bylo i nie bedzie lepszej pary. Jayne i Dean. Ogladam ich bardzo czesto bo to przyjemnosc. Tak rowniutko jeżdżą jakby mieli te nogi poprzyklejane. Niesamowite.
Sooooooooooooooo disappointed that T&D did not win the Gold in Lillehammer. To this day, 3/12/22, I truly believe that some sort of Judges irregularity, similar to Salt Lake City, occurred. While Dean attributed it to a questionable lift he added, I doubt it!
Anything is possible but Gritschuk & Platov were also super overrated their whole career. One interesting thing to me is G&P getting support as Russian #1 over the reigning World Champions Usova & Zhulin, hence beating them at both Europeans and the Olympics, which totally went against the system back then. Usova & Zhulin had a garbage free dance that year, but still I can only imagine the things that went on politically within Russia that wound up favoring Gritschuk & Platov this season we will never know about.
Their skating is just so fluid and seamless. A real pleasure to watch.🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐

In Lillehammer, 1994 Olympics. The Bronze was an insult. There was definite Judging "irregularities", so to speak!
