After 21 days of archery hunting I heard 2 bugles total the whole season and heard wolves howling five times in five different locations. 20 years ago I would hear several bugles each day.
That's what happens when bored-to-tears millionaire housewives on the upper west side of Manhattan think wolves are just cuter fuzzy bigger versions of their labradoodle and elk are just like cows. Montana's wolf trapping season got pushed to January 1st due to these kooks.

The deer, elk and moose are gone in central Idaho, thanks to government wolves! Nothing left to hunt. I think that was their plan the whole time!
