People forget that Ms. Ross blazed the trail. She was the first Black entertainer, as a solo artist, to play the same venues as White superstars and to charge the same (or higher) fees. I have heard many Black (especially female) artists acknowledge her accomplishment. If she had failed or if her shows had been lackluster, someone else would have had to blaze the trail. But, she was proud and happy to do it, and she did it like no one else could so. Her live shows are the best!

It was the launch of DRs solo career and it had to be HUGE! I love this remix because I hear so much going on with the Detroit Symphony orchestra. This is September 3. 2022 2.12 am it's way past my bed time and I can't stop listening to this song. as a child I have been listening to miss Ross her songs brought me love and comfort, when it rains they often plays her songs especially, some day we will be together, I always sit at the window staring at the rain drops crying , wishing my mom would returned home.. I was only age 7 when she left looking for a better life aboard. She Returned twelve years later, time passes so quickly it wasn't the same, looking back her songs did me good,, I'll always love and cherish her beautiful songs. ❤
Diana Ross was never one of my favorite singers ,though I loved many of her solo and
Supremes songs. This is one of my all time favorite recordings. I challenge anyone to find a better vocalist at reciting lyrics. The performance on this song will NEVER be equaled
