Debatable, plenty of the smaller more affordable cities are more affordable because they're less safe.

When I was 27, the market was high, and house hunting was frustrating. After 6 months, I found a fixer upper I purchased. Fixed that home up, and learned a lot doing it, to the point that I rarely ever hire jobs out, because I can figure out how to do them myself. I owned that house for 21 years and made a killing in it when I sold it last year. I miss that old house!

Yes new home owners are going to want to look for something they can afford. Tiny homes would be very appealing if the buying process was easy for the average person that knows nothing. & land to live on

My son and his wife bought a huge hundred year old farmhouse for a song and everything they do to it increases it’s value.

And in the end they still have a 100 year old farm house made of wood..

Keep in mind, 18-25 year olds have rich parents too.

that doesnt matter they obviously dont see that this is arguably the worst time to buy a home in 90 years ... they just dont see what is unfolding or they want to live for today and not tomorrow

I think its hilarious that Google was forcing people to go back into the office and then told them not to come into the office due to air quality.

Air quality? More like employees would not come back. My sister works for Dell, they told everyone they had to come back, including people that have always worked form home for 20 years. Many of the people made up excuses not to go back, and many of the ones that did go back are now looking for new jobs that allow them to work from home. Once you give people something they like, it’s almost impossible to take it away.

I love how this person thinks that we like to rent. People rent because they can't get into the house market. Living in apartments is a nightmare!
