Illustrator, Drawing Inside, Draw Behind, Draw Normal

The Illustrator tool bar has a few new commands that allow you to specify where the objects you are creating end up. These three options are found at the bottom of the tool bar and are as follows: Draw Normal, Draw Behind, and Draw Inside. This short videos shows you how to work with these modes.

It seems as I draw inside of another drawing, the parent drawing's stroke style changes back to normal. Do you have a work around this? Thanks
