At 70 years old, I am a Chinese individual who has endured the harrowing Great Chinese Famine and the tumultuous Cultural Revolution. These events, with all their physical, mental, and spiritual challenges, have become a part of who I am. I recently discovered the musical piece "Exodus" and was profoundly moved by its resonance with my soul. As a self-taught pianist, I've learned to play this masterpiece and have had the honor of performing it for my fellow seniors, where I volunteer, as well as on cruise trips. This piece is one I can listen to repeatedly. It invokes in me a vivid remembrance of the minimum 36 million lives lost to famine from 1958 to 1962, a tragedy that ceased when I was just eight years old. "Exodus" is more than a composition that echoes sadness, suffering, and the depths of human misery; it serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration. Life, in all its facets, is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this experience.

Time never slow him down a bit He was the coolest pianist, like a member in some boyband more than classical musician. Yet, his skill is undoubt one of the best in his field

You cannot begin to imagine the affect it had on passengers. Everyone, young, old began crying. People gathered in the aisle, looking out the port windows for that first glimpse of the shoreline, and the cheer that went up when it was first spotted. Minutes later, we were actually on the ground, a trip millions in the past could only dream of, and so many would never make. We were there! Horribly, it's much more poignant now. Peace will return, and it will be a much safer Israel for everyone. "This land is mine! God gave this land to me..." Thank you Maksim. You may not be Jewish, but you play Jewish.
