Definitely changing the title to a rectangle, adding the second cream tag with their bows & condensing the writing made all the difference to the page. Our small church here in Australia pack the boxes every year & this year broke our own record. The worst part is the postage of them since mail rates have gone up again, so they are no longer as cheap as they used to be to send, in fact they are nearly double the price from over 5 years ago. The most exciting year was when we were watching their video on kids opening the boxes & recognizing that they were from our church, it was so special to see the excitement on the kids faces.
Thank you Louise, I am glad you like the final layout choice. How special to have been able to watch the video of the children opening the boxes. It is a very wonderful organization. That is too bad about the shipping cost.
We love Operation Christmas Child, been taking part as a family for about 12 years ❤ Nice layout too - I've certainly changed things around until it just works many times!
Love the changes too❤ you’re right, it always helps me to take a photo (and share with a friend 😉) when I know that something just isn’t quite right! 😊😊
So happy to see another one of your videos...I was feeling Erin withdrawal! Great layout for documenting some great photos. We put together several Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes every year! My daughter actually got to be there when boxes were handed out to some kids in the Dominican Republic.
I have to thank you for all that you've taught me in the past few years! When this would happen to me, I wouldn't know what was bothering me about it; however, your visual triangle tip really helped me get through these frustrating situations. Great layout! ❤❤
Awwww thank you for saying that. I am truly glad the video tips are helpful, it is a big compliment because I think you are a very talented scrapbooker!
Older video- but TH-cam pulled it up after I watched your garden/ spring layout. Came on here to say that you might consider a scan n cut for cutting out all those little icons from your 12x12 papers… it’s not perfect- like if the background is too busy, it gets confused. But definitely saves $ on buying coordinating dies and I love it for fussy cutting.
I love how you show us how to change things up. I tend to overthink with my layouts and found this process helpful. I like how you just moved things around rather than just getting a bunch of new things. Your layouts are always so beautiful. ❤
What cute pictures and the last layout is the best. Thank you for sharing how to develop a layout and then be able to change it--good idea to take pix of the layout as one develops it.
Thanks for sharing your process, Erin. I sometimes get frustrated with a layout and have to walk away. Now I will also try your suggestion of looking at it through my phone.
Taking a picture seems like a weird idea but it really does give me a different perspective and I can usually see what needs to be changed, especially if you have the different layout options and can quickly swipe back and forth between the photos.
Great video♥️. Really liked your process of changing your layout until you found the one you loved. I agree about walking away for a bit. I tend to do that if I’m making several layouts at a time. ☺️
Thanks so much! 😊 It does help to walk away or even sleep on it. Sometimes I don't something but after returning in the morning after a good night's sleep and a cup of coffee it seems to look better 😂
I bought that very same candy stamp set to use with this Christmas paper to document a super fun “Elf” the movie Christmas party we went to. Video coming soon! I have others lined up ahead of it. I just thought you’d think it was funny how we thought the same thing. ❤
@@CraftyConceptswithErin wait til you see my photos…the girl who had the party went all out. Everything he had in that spaghetti she put in and everyone had to eat it with their hands behind their backs. It was the best Christmas party we’ve ever attended. 🤣

It is a wonderful organization! Our church had the kids come up and pray over the boxes and I thought the whole thing was really special.

Haha, I should have offered that tip too, text it to a friend for advice 😂

Thank you and I am glad you look forward to the videos. I hope to be back to my regular posting schedule soon.
Lovely layout. For me, shrinking the journaling is what made it perfect!
Thank you, I am glad you think so, it really did make a big difference.
Erin I love how you show us the process you go through when putting a page together. That has helped me so much.
Thank you and I am so glad it was helpful for you!
Cute page! We love Operation Christmas Child! Our little Church has a box stuffing party every year! I think last year we went over 200 boxes!
Wow 200 boxes, that is wonderful!
Thanks for showing your different solutions. That helps a lot! Great layout Erin! 18:43
Hello Hamida, I am so glad it was helpful for you!
love crafting with you, Erin!
That makes my day, thank you 😊
That turned out great! The indecisiveness is what I struggle with on every layout!! Lol
lol, you are in good company!
Love the idea of taking a photo and walk away!
It really works! It’s strange how looking at the layout on your phone can change your perspective.
Turned out just adorable!!!❤
Thank you Cheryl, it was fun to have all these embellishments to help tell the story.
Great tip to use the camera, I find this really works. Lovely layout. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome, I am glad you enjoyed it.
I loved the first version - I love the final.... I have never seen a layout from you that I didn't gahhhhhhhhhhhh over! xo Vicky
You are too kind! Thank you so much and I am glad you liked both options.

@@CraftyConceptswithErin thank you! That means so much to me! 🥰🥰
Great layout! Love the process of making changes.
Thank you Cathy, I thought it would be helpful to see the process and know things don't always go smoothly for me.
Another great layout…TFS your different layouts before deciding on which one you liked best!
Thank you. Sometimes it is helpful to see the different ways to move pieces around a layout until they land in the right spot.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have heard positive feedback and a scan n cut does sound pretty handy!

You are so welcome and I am glad it was helpful. Sometimes layouts are like puzzles and you have to move the pieces around until they fit.

It is a fun memory! It really helps to compare the layout options by looking at the photo version back and forth. It’s kind of weird but really helps.
I do this all the time too!
I always love your layouts !!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Cindy, I am always glad to hear that.
Great layout. Like using stamp sets for other holidays. I never would have thought of this!! 👏👏👏
Thank you, I think I will get a lot of mileage from this candy stamp.

Oh it will be perfect for Elf themed photos, great idea! All I can think of now is candy in the spaghetti 😂
