Definitely changing the title to a rectangle, adding the second cream tag with their bows & condensing the writing made all the difference to the page.
Our small church here in Australia pack the boxes every year & this year broke our own record. The worst part is the postage of them since mail rates have gone up again, so they are no longer as cheap as they used to be to send, in fact they are nearly double the price from over 5 years ago. The most exciting year was when we were watching their video on kids opening the boxes & recognizing that they were from our church, it was so special to see the excitement on the kids faces.

So happy to see another one of your videos...I was feeling Erin withdrawal! Great layout for documenting some great photos. We put together several Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes every year! My daughter actually got to be there when boxes were handed out to some kids in the Dominican Republic.

It is a wonderful organization! Our church had the kids come up and pray over the boxes and I thought the whole thing was really special.
Cute page! We love Operation Christmas Child! Our little Church has a box stuffing party every year! I think last year we went over 200 boxes!

Thank you. Sometimes it is helpful to see the different ways to move pieces around a layout until they land in the right spot.
Older video- but TH-cam pulled it up after I watched your garden/ spring layout. Came on here to say that you might consider a scan n cut for cutting out all those little icons from your 12x12 papers… it’s not perfect- like if the background is too busy, it gets confused. But definitely saves $ on buying coordinating dies and I love it for fussy cutting.

What cute pictures and the last layout is the best. Thank you for sharing how to develop a layout and then be able to change it--good idea to take pix of the layout as one develops it.
It is a fun memory! It really helps to compare the layout options by looking at the photo version back and forth. It’s kind of weird but really helps.

Thanks for sharing your process, Erin. I sometimes get frustrated with a layout and have to walk away. Now I will also try your suggestion of looking at it through my phone.
Taking a picture seems like a weird idea but it really does give me a different perspective and I can usually see what needs to be changed, especially if you have the different layout options and can quickly swipe back and forth between the photos.

Thanks so much! 😊 It does help to walk away or even sleep on it. Sometimes I don't something but after returning in the morning after a good night's sleep and a cup of coffee it seems to look better 😂

I bought that very same candy stamp set to use with this Christmas paper to document a super fun “Elf” the movie Christmas party we went to. Video coming soon! I have others lined up ahead of it. I just thought you’d think it was funny how we thought the same thing. ❤
