@@calleblomquist I was having trouble downloading the file and getting it onto the printer. After I updated it, turns out that my prints were messing up, particularly the bottom layer. I ended up going back to the older version. May try again later 🤷♂
Thank you for posting this. I updated my firmware and Prusa profile but unfortunately I had issues with layer shifts that I never had before so I just went back to 2.9 and the printer is back printing great. I wish I had checked on Reddit before I did the upgrade because many others are having issues. I was planning on preordering a Kobra 2 Max but decided to wait because of the buggy firmware.
@@Cplayz08 I had the same issues but on both versiones, first on the v3 and then I downgraded to de 2.9 and Ive been having problems. Have you had problems?
For those who do not have that slot, simply remove the screen and with the plate removed, put the card in, turn it on and wait for the update, when it is finished, reassemble it and that's it. I just finished it with mine
What exactly do you mean by this? I removed the screen, removed the mounting plate and there is no slot. Do you mean put the card in the front slot? How does removing some screws make the front slot work differently?
@darrengrebe2253 Friend, don't update, I just went back on mine, it has hundreds of errors, at first you won't notice it, but then it starts skipping a lot of steps, today I was printing something and ended up printing in another area, it's like a sandwich out of square
my Kobra 2 screen doesn't have a MicroSD card slot. Not anywhere on it. So while I'm able to update the mainboard firmware, I can't update the screen firmware. what gives?
My printers x axis misses steps and the nozzle then prints here and there because of the changed locations, i had removed the motor and felt little bit jamming of the shaft, its just 4 months old, is it normal , how can i be sure that its the motor only thats causing the issue ,should i just install the new motor and see?
After the update i dont know what happened, it was successfull but the results are not even close as good like before... Also Cura seems to be not suported and i have to reset and level before any print. since the update i wasted 1kg pla just testing to get a benchy... still no success, always different errors with Z homing is faulty or wiring not correct which is bullsh*... if anybody got a solution i would be very happy.

I updated the firmware and had severe overextrusion issues. I had to reduce flow down to 70% even after recalibrating my e steps. I found what i had to do was restore the firmware to factory settings (M502 i think) reboot, update firmware, v restore to factory settings again and then the over extension was gone. This thing prints like a dream now.
@@gokuyxixi I did it two ways. First in the system menu (under prepare i think) and used the reset factory settings option. I then connected to a PC running pronterface and ran M502 command then M500. After that I formatted a branded 8Gb sd card (It didn't like any cards smaller than 8Gb and it didn't like unbranded ones) and copied the firmware to it. Once the firmware updated I redid the reset to factory steps again to make 100% sure there was no extraneous data left in memory. I have found these to run a higher than expected flow rate... mine is perfect at 90%. I spent a lot of time chasing down less than perfect prints figuring this out but now it prints beautifully and very stable at 150mms.
