I follow a lot of fishing TH-camrs. I could honestly say that these videos are the most well edited videos out there!
He's a good fisherman, but the guy could be producing TV shows with his skills in editing. Plus the score he adds *chef's kiss*
This is the only youtube channel for which I watch every episode. He really captures his excitement and makes it so much fun to watch.

GOAT? Really? I will say he's one of the most varied fisherman. He runs long distance to catch fish. Most of us poor people fish close to home as the price of fuel is prohibitive. You have your opinion now you have mine.
While i agree he is a decent fisherman, the GOAT? Not sure about that one. I really enjoy his videos, but there are alot out there who do the exact same thing as him. Just sayin.

I agree he does travel long distances to fish because youtube is his job. Most people cant run around from place to place fishing sll day because we have jobs. But if fishing is your job, then yea. But goat no. There are plenty more out there that are better than him. Especially catfishing.

Nick,
I notice a lot that your spinning reel’s spools are like 1/3 empty of line. Keeping your spools full up to about 1/8th of an inch inside the lip of the spool allows for longer casting lengths, which helps when targeting wary fish while bank fishing. Keep up the great content!
I do enjoy your use of natural bait find around you, the cicada was awesome but my favorite is still the dead frog! Optimistic until the end and we appreciate it! Keep snaggin 'em!!!!!!

hey beautiful video, I used to laugh at people with GoPros or Cameras when they're out fishing but after seeing your video with the music and the editing, the shots of the cicadas flying around, it's all so gorgeous, it makes me want to learn video editing

My Daughter just Caught a big Snapping turtle love watching you
I just watched a video about how to properly handle snapping turtles. Grab them by the tail, then slip your hand under their belly and lift them by the belly plate, they do not freak out, like they do when you grab them by the back of their shell and lift them.
This was a really good day of fishing!

I almost went to this spot recently, but something came up to prevent me from going. I've been wanting to catch my first bowfin this year, and this is one of the spots I think I can get it done. Lots of nice fish you caught this week.

I’m always amazed at how you can catch bowfin on an ultra light. Nice video.
Big bait, big fish. Try using the whole sunfish instead of cutting it up. Hook it directly behind the dorsal fin. This works well for large bass and flathead cats.

Hey Nick. Great day fishing!!! Have noticed lately when filming while you are fighting with a fish the camera loses focus or pixelates at different times when the camera can’t make sense of what it’s looking at. But it has t been doing this very long just a few videos!

man, i broke a nice abu garcia rod reeling in a snapper last summer. glad to see you get him off without any issues.
Be sure you know the laws on cast netting for your state. In Indiana we can’t net near dams and you can’t keep anything but suckers and shad
I thought I'd hit a snag several years ago and it turned into a salmon. I was on a very small, flooded river, long trotting maggots for trout and grayling that reach no bigger than 1.5lb if you're lucky. That fish went nuts and I had to follow it up and down the river wondering if my 2lb hook length would hold. I did land it eventually.

If u ever need to get a hook out of the mouth of the snapper Nick, I usually use the round part of the net and put it in its mouth. Then it can't bite down and makes it harder to extend its neck. Just make sure u have a strong step on the net handle. Keep it going buddy.
