I've listened to some of these audios and I've been wondering something for the LONGEST time ,could there be like...idk a hybrid between a shifter(werewolf) and a vampire?
AAAAAAAAAAAND everything I said about part 1? Yeah Part 2 has only made those 'squicky' feelings so much worse. Just...so many red flags back to back. And once again I just feel that 'illusion of choice' going on. She claimed the Victim (I'm realizing I like that name for them more and more so far...I'll switch once I'm sure what the more longterm title will be*) had all the choice here, that they could come and find her any time they wanted...Buuuuuut once they do? "You kept me waiting." It feels like an inevitability the way she says that. Like she had no expectations the Victim would make any other choice. Telling them that they should keep this to themselves...'Only for now' of course, but in that frantic tone she asks about who could possibly know already. Offers herself up as a teacher with confidence, and then keeps pressing that question when they don't seem to answer... She doesn't seem to have a short-term plan, it's like she's making a lot of this up on the fly, and seems genuine in that flustered tone ...And don't get me wrong, that IS endearing, but it will NOT distract me from the fact that she seems to have the cogs turning on the long-term, what Victim can do 'for' her...Her loss of Blood Magic is majorly suspicious when paired with how invested she is..."If you're this strong, we could-" Yeah I...don't believe there's actually a 'we'... BUT...While I fear greatly for Victim's safety in this relationship they're forging, I do like the expansion of lore we're getting through this side of the series, learning more about the magic, the types, the options. I feel this will be a very informative series! So while I'll be nervous until we can build up some real trust (or not! Maybe we never will), I am excited to learn! ...Was that some resentment I heard when she listed 'shifters' in the magic user list? Or was I reading too much into the tone? Possibly, it almost sounds like nothing but...You know how cliches are, vampires and werewolves tend to have history... *Realization as I get to the end again* ...Oooooooooooh I'm an idiot, I forgot she calls them 'Doll'. don't I look like the fool? Ignore 'Victim', my bad, I have a terrible memory and that's why I rewatch WHILE writing these XD ...But yeah... "Just between us" ...This is going to be a strong, healthy relationship, I'm sure of it...
