iKON have such a roller coaster journey. They were so BIG during their pre-debut and rookie era but then they didn't make any promotion for a year and lost so many fans. In 2018 they raised again with Love Scenario but in 2019 they lost their leader (B.I) bzc of scandal and being underestimate after that. After 7 years with YG Entertainment, they choose to leave and started a new journey in smallest company for more freedom. Please support them, they are so talented and deserved so much better
I think that explains a lot of my confusion. I kinda thought they were super super big because I mainly only knew Love Scenario and Killing Me and these are such "K-Pop classics?" but then after getting back into K-Pop 2 years ago I felt like no one was really talking about them, so that threw me off so much :o
they definitely deserve all the hype in this world, I already love them so much and I can't wait to follow their journey from now on 🥰

Thank you for reacting! There is still a lot of individual information that is not here. I think iKONIC should make a 2023 guide lol because they now transferred to 143 entertainment and a lot of things happened in 2022 and in 2023 twice as many things, but I'll summarize a bit about each of them:
--Jay: He debuted as a musical theater actor last year in 'Dracula: The musical' and will debut solo this year with his own album, he also has credits on some iKON songs. He was a judge with DK on an Indonesian show last year.
--Bobby: latest albums, first solo concert and tour in Japan. Soon to reach 100 credited songs on KOMCA, including own songs and iKON songs. Estimated to make 4 albums this year.
--Song: 1st solo song on iKON's new album this May 4th, has another solo song that was never officially released 'Kkil kki ppa ppa' but he sang it on iKON's last tour in Japan.
--DK: 1st solo song on iKON's new album as well. He has made many collaborations with Bobby and has many songs credited, currently he and Bobby are the main producer of iKON's music. First iKON member to be credited in "arrangements" by Tantara. He also launched a special casual wear line with Korean brand 'ULKIN' last year and debuted as a model at New york Fashion Week 2022. He composed iKON's first original Japanese song last year 'Your voice'.
--Ju-ne: 1st solo song in iKON's new album as well. On May 4th, he will also release his first ost for kdrama 'Bora Deborah' where he also debuted as an actor and has 2 other productions as an actor to be made. He also composed 1 of the group songs of the new album.
--Chanwoo: He returned to acting last year and was nominated for rookie at the Blue Dragon Award 2022. Still no exact plans from him this year but surely much more to come.
