I think people will realize that they don’t actually like pure extraction shooters as much as they think. The Division and The Division 2 still seem like they still have better extraction shooter elements while being fully rounded out games.

I think extraction shooters are for the truly competitive and we will always love the challenge, while pure PVE games are for those who can’t handle players being better than them. I’m usually really good at any game, but I do have a life, so I cannot game nearly as much as I would like to. With that said I won’t ever be as good as a no-lifing chad who plays the game 50+ hours a week. So I do agree a game that mixes both like the division is awesome. The new division game that they unfortunately scrapped was super cool to me. Daytime missions were purely PVE even if you encounter others, and night raids were PVEVP
I love all the people complaining about it not being coop anymore. Likely the same people that praised tf out of helldivers 2 and that game lost 80% of it's player base in 9 months. People consume and move on from single player and coop. Outside of Destiny they don't last.

Everyone camping the extraction spots in the Alpha, it was rage inducing mess! It needs areas of pvp and non-pvp areas otherwise it will not work, even Ubisoft knows this! I played the Alpha and it looks and sounds great, but gameplay concept as it was - trash! Camping extraction just to steal is rage inducing mess
This game lost me when they went pvp. I hate the division dark zone pvp and this is a whole game based on that concept. that voice over in this gameplay sounds like AI garbage and I also see this game is listed on the naughty list for DEIdetected. Bad bad and very bad.

I mean we liive in the future. High tech exo suits,robots, otherworldly beings, different planets atmosphere, giantsi can go on forever, huge caves, mountains, futuristic weapons, lazers, plasma guns,jet packs,cyborgs and so on come on. That's something new and casual players will struggle playing against other players that's way better. It's not just about graphics but combine both and you have a sick game. Now a day's they make great graphics but gameplay sucks. For me graphics is not everything in a game I want to have a wooooow game when I play not ok it looks like any other game that I've played.
@FromMeToYou77 You are absolutely right, I didn't say that the graphics are the problem, I played a lot of games with (bad) graphics as they would say today, but the gameplay was pira art, graphics are not everything, think about "Voidigo" that game is amazing and I recommend it if you like roguelikes and challenges, having a stylized graphic is not a symbol of laziness but can be a way of seeing things beyond the "big graphic". That said, I think that if the game is as good as I think it is, I will play it FOR SURE

There are barly any pvp looter shooters. The cycle frontier was last one. But was a bad company. This is the first AAA extraction shooter to come out, for now.
I played the beta, it's complete trash. If you like tarkov this may appeal to you, but for me it's a hard pass. horrible movement, feels very clunky. gunplay was also slow and very underwhelming, they made a massive mistake by adding pvp aspects to this game. just another extraction shooter to appeal to the brain mushed 20 year olds.
I hate Tarkov (and similar extraction shooters), but I loved Arc Raiders! Stop associating the game with the first extraction shooter that comes to mind. Also, in my opinion, the movement felt realistic and smooth, and I thought the TTK was pretty well balanced, not too fast or too slow. It gives you a chance to strategize rather than instantly die to a group of three while playing solo. This game is relatively simple and beginner friendly for an extraction shooter. That said, I’m still upset they changed it to an extraction shooter since I’ve never liked that genre. However, I gave it a chance, and... it was fun for me. I’m pretty sure a lot of people will enjoy this game because there isn’t much competition in this genre.
