I have a LT1046 with 57 hours. Had thrown a deck belt, had to slightly loosen the tensioner pulley because it was stuck under it. Tightened the thentioner pulley, Put it back on and now the spring started rubbing the pulley next to
@@timbonjovito be honest, I’m not sure. When I dropped my deck, I noticed that my tension spring popped off. So I attached that and did this and haven’t had issues since.
If it's PTO driven there's a spring that keeps it tight if it's hand engaged there should be a couple of bolts by the cable to adjust to make it tight on the deck

If your going to move and leave off the cover, then make 3 L type brackets and bolt them down
Then you can clean it easier and keep the belt on

question, I have an old hds 2155 and deck belt broke, bought new belt and it is too loose. The deck is level, how do I get belt to tighten?
