Having lived this, yes if theres kids involved the perrson being abused needs to take the kids too. The abuser aill be restricted access to both parent and children because they are considered dangerous and incapable until they get help, IF theyre mentally stable enough to receive help. But its best the abused should stay far far away from their abuser and start completely over with therapy for both them and the kids, living arrangements, etc. Take time to heal. 🤷🏿♀️💯
