Here I am performing Jason Becker's song- Altitudes on my electric guitar. It's an honor to chat with a friend of Jason Becker's. Rob has been friends with Jason for a long time and he told me he wants to give me a guitar that belonged to Jason. I thank Rob Kaminski, a friend of Jason's who contacted me today to send me the guitar that was Jason Becker's. He told me his excitement for having listened to the song he performed previously (Valley Of Fire) .. For this reason, I dedicate this version to both friends: Jason in the first place, and Rob for sharing my music with him. - เพลง

The best part about this cover is he made it more of his own version of altitudes and I like it a lot
That's right he sure hell never reads guitars tabs. He can listen to anything and just play what he hears in his mind.

Oh he definitely struggled on some parts or just made minor mistakes like on the raking on the beginning and the timing on some parts aren’t that great but that’s probably due to the fact that he’s also improvising so that’s to be expected at times. Bottom line this was still very very impressive🔥🔥🔥
@@carlosf9278 I absolutely agree. Maybe a couple missed harmonics, and some timing issues, but man, it’s so refreshing watching someone truly having fun while playing.

Ok I'm going to go off on a wing here and say the guitar he's playing in the video obviously isn't the guitar but the video was uploaded to celebrate the occasion in which he was going to get one of the guitars, which you could probably find in a later video anyway.

This could probably be one of the best guitarists I've ever seen playing on a guitar. And with that said, this is the only video I've seen whit this guy playing a guitar. His feeling for the tones is absolutely phenomenal. It's rare for me to be this impressed. but this is something extra. i'm stunned beyond belief. This will probably also be the best Jason Becker himself has seen where someone does a cover of his songs. At least that's what I think. 🤘🙂🙂🙂🤘

JB sabia lo que estaba haciendo exactamente, la cantidad de ingredientes exactos para una melodía perfecta. DS, es grande, pero... demasiado condimentada la pieza (me parece).
No se. He oído tantos covers "perfectos" que me quedo con uno o dos por la emoción de pensar en Jason.. pero, casi no he oído músicos interpretando a Jason.
Me parece refrescante después de todo. Y en su propia interpretación es bestial.
de que sirve hacerla igual, hay muchos cover iguales! idénticos...obvio que la puede hacer igual, pero es tan distinto que le mete su estilo !!
Puede estar improvisando amigo.. capaz no se la acuerda perfectamente o lo siente así en el momento. Una interpretación no tiene por qué ser un calco 100%

Tu nivel técnico es muy bueno, pasa que con Jason Becker sus compocisiónes , su feeling y su destreza técnica no son de este planeta, es otro nivel...esa pieza debe tocarse tal cuál está, es perfecta, pero es solo una opinión, como cover quedó muy bueno, algo distinto, pero en fin, es cuestión de gustos al final supongo!!!

IMO this is a hallmark of true musicianship and genius. In this day and age we have enough covers of this masterpiece trying to stay 100% faithful to the original. Very few are ornamented at all let alone like this one. I really dig this interpretation. Splendid work of art! You kind of remind me of a modern yet already legendary next-level violinist Roman Kim with your aproach to music of going above and beyond and doing something different.
i dont think anybody else could cover it and make it more complicated, every other person doing their own take would be accused of missing out bits they cant play.

Excelente, el tema suena super, hay varios arreglos que le dan un toque mágico, suena excelente, creo que ya es hora de que suenen tus discos, no te hace falta nada, si tan solo hicieras que tu música original suene serías una leyenda. Una sana sugerencia nada mas porque el tiempo pasa y lo mejor es dejar algo nuestro.
