There's a lot of value in this video Tanner. One thing I will mention that you didn't directly state is that it's also important to build your brand. You are one of the few who take advantage of social media to build a following. I was watching High Limit last night and seen your t-shirts in the stands. That's pretty amazing for someone who doesn't regularly follow a national touring series. You have fans all over the US (Alabama here) and you never know who is watching. So just keep growing your team and building your brand and eventually the right sponsors are going to come find you. Keep up the good work buddy!
Specific parts is the great way to go. If someone sponsors a front suspension and sees if ripped apart by some rookie in lapped traffic, they are more likely to make sure you are taken care of. Off track behavior will end a relationship quicker than anything.
The magic ingredients you did not mention: Preparation and self confidence. They ooze out your pores without your being cocky or arrogant. Your videos are the most professional ones I watch. They encourage me to watch the next one. This one was the best, yet and you weren't even on the track.
I also kinda think that having sponsors/partners can bring on more sponsors/partners especially if they are well known and respected. Like in Tanners case one trucking company might be willing to take a chance with him if they see another trucking company on the car especially if they have been with you for a couple or few seasons. I would even ask perspective partners to watch some video of you racing to see if they like how you run. Just a couple more thoughts. I hope that they make sense. Thank you Tanner for sharing this video with us. It was a great idea. May y'all have a good one. Have fun take care
This was an absolute great and helpful video especially for someone that is in their 2nd season ever and no sponsors yet but one more question do you think you could make another video describing how to design an appealing car and maybe how to get wraps and decals and maybe tell us some of the people you may use.
Well having 75k subscribers on TH-cam when barely any other drivers exploit that avenue certainly helps lol. Big fan though man I’ve been glad to see your career growing over the years. Was super bummed I didn’t have a chance to see you race when you were in central PA.
A little off topic but a HUGE opportunity your missing . I use to follow Carlys TH-cam off and on when she was driving but with 30 to 40 chics around the country racing crate , 305 , 360 Sprints and being out in Oregon it wasn't the most compelling TH-cam account . Just sayin. However now that she has turned into a 410 Crew Chief she is in much more rarified air . I believe there is only one other female 410 Crew Chief in the whole country . a page Vlog what ever dedicated to the technical side , how it's different being a female in an almost exclusively male occupation would absolutely kill . Throw in some funny stories from the road and how working with her brother complicates things and you have solid gold . I have even got you a few titles that would work feel free to steal them . Dancing in the Dirt with Carly Tampons in the tool box And my personal favorite ... Nose Rings and Nose Wings .
Can you sponsor me to help me get a racing suit, I need a custom one because the stores don't have the correct sizing that I need. I would be very grateful if you could help me out.
This is the absolute best advice you could give anyone looking for sponsors, it really is hard to find sponsors and this is amazing advice

Wise, young man.....keep moving forward !!!!
👍. Great tips. And it always helps to promote “our” favorite sport of sprint car racing
Kiddo, all good advice. In anything, hard work pays off.
