You are an expert, its always better to do these jobs ourselves. I started doing all the electrical work myself without depending these officers. Like new line for new AC wiring, power box installation, PVC pipe, MCB, heater thermostat switch replacement, fan, light installations,switch box replacement, cctv installation etc

Good video dear syed. Out of all the channels which i have subscribed, i feel watching videos in this channel is worth. When i was constructing my home, the contractor had apponinted a electrician. I being an engineer wanted to check all the earth points in all three pin plugs and when asked about earth point not working for some plugs the electrician told me that " Sir earthing is not important at all. My house earthing is not there from past 10yrs". I said to him, that i needed the missing Earth points to be fixed at any cost. Then he told me that it is the switch problem. I realized that these electricians didn't wanted to do such repairs now but they wanted us to call them later so that they get some payment from owner rather than with the contractor. Pathetic condition of unskilled labour in India. Finally i myself bought a tester for rs. 150 and an insulation tape for rs. 50 some 2sqmm wires and problem solved. My parents always tell me to do such works by calling an external person but i know what the reality is. You have taken great effort for this video. I appreciate and am humbled by your efforts to teach the common man.❤❤❤
Earth point is very very important, most of the owners, electricians, ignore these basic, due to which accidents happen. In India no one follows building code, electrical code etc. Its not a rocket science which they need to invent new, its already there and codified, still ...lethargy. Any one reading your comments should update their earth points.

Many of us facing same issues. I spent 1000 rupees jst for finding the wire in mainboard. Many electricians are saying they will come with assistant. So even for simple 30mints work, they charge 1000rupees.
Kindly teach some basic wiring like switch board connection, Fan connection, Light to switchboard connection. This may help many to get aware of spending too much money for simple electrical work.

I done the switch replacement for my friend free of cost, i’m not electrician but know the basics and electrical works
I also experienced overcharging with *Urban Company* few times. They charged almost 400% more. Never used Urban Company after that. As soon as the electrician/plumber/AC repair person comes, the first thing they do is to understand the customer's knowledge and understanding of the problem. With just few questions they can determine if the person knows about it or not and if they realize that the customer doest knows much about the technical, cost of parts/consumables, they try to overcharge as much as possible.
In another instance, the electrician asked Rs.2800/- for changing ceramic filament in the water heater. When I enquired in the electricals shop the cost of the ceramic filament (Original) is only 700 to 800 rupees.

I have faced similar issues with uc technicians. It's not only with Electricians, most of the UC technicians like plumbers, chimney repair repair etc do this billing scam and also try to extract as much as possible.

Same same issue happened to me. With a greedy Auto driver. App showed 100. He asked 120. I agreed without any discussion. I gave him the money just after I got in auto because I don't wanna rush searching for money when I drop. And i didn't want to make any traffic jams as it was raining and at peak time. But he thought I would give how much he asked for. He said give me 150. I asked him why. Ge asked for a higher amount just because he came in the shortcut I told him. I took him in a shortcut to avoid traffic on the main road and the long distance route. Finally he gave me back the 20 rupees and dropped me 500 meters before. And I had to run to catch up on the bus. To reach the final destination itself it showed 100. But I agreed to give 120. But he dropped me 500 meters before.

இப்படிதான் TV repair செய்ய online book செய்தேன். 5500 உள்ளே கழட்டிதக்கு ஒரு charge, spares ஒரு charge ,அது work ஆகவல்லை வேண்டாம் பழைய spares மாட்டிவிடுமாறு கூறினேன் அதற்கு ஒரு charge மொத்ததில் நான் ஏமாற்ற பட்டேன்.இதுவரை ரிப்பேர் செய்ய வில்லை.

Cause 2 loose connection or wire might damaged from mcb.
I have 6 years experience as a electricians
In my region usually a mastered electricians wage is 800-900 per day he will do all kind of work and they will easily available i wondered wages from that app that too without material cost,i suggest you to consult a local electricians who works in construction sites your work will get finished smoothly
Else you can check all wires near mcb find any loose connection if the wiring is done based on colour coding trace wire with colour and try to cut the old connection and connect it with beside mcb to test mcb fault if you got connection then mcb is damaged else there should be breakage or damaged happened in wire,
And i again wonder as a engineer fact guy u have shared some knowledgeable content regarding electric and all why don't you slove this problem this is very easy task bro
Any ways i literally shocked those wages in that app by this i can understand there is a demand of private individual electricians 😅
