  • Patagonia Black Hole 100L Duffel Review - 100% Recycled
The Patagonia Black Hole line up has been around for quite some time. The Black Hole bags have been all over the world and trusted by many adventurers. The Engearment Team is fond of the Black Hole bags and we were stoked when Patagonia announced that they are now 100% recycled materials.
This review is on the 100L version, the largest in the line up. It is so big that I actually have a 60L duffel in the Black Hole, with plenty of space to spare! The 900D TPU coated material is burly as anything and can withstand all kinds of use and abuse.

Can attest to the quality and usability of these! Have both a 60L and a 45L with the shoulder strap, and they’re awesome. I believe the sizing has changed slightly with newer models and that the smallest at 40L now has shoulder straps, which in my opinion might be a slight downgrade - but they’re great bags nonetheless

Be great to see how the larger black holes have been holding up to international baggage handlers and adventures and what you think of the wheeled black holes? In thinking a 100l wheeled would be great for a travel adventure camping gearbag?Seeing who used bags instead of new bags would be great to see Thanks 👍

"I don't know why you'd want to stuff itself into a pocket" Funny you mention that as it's all i care about when looking at a duffels like this because I live in my car but need something for when I fly, meaning normal luggage is out of the question :P

Have two of these and don’t think I will ever need another bag. Thanks for the overview didn’t know about the zipper in the pocket to access the bag. Btw; what shoes are you wearing?

Hello, cool review, thank you. How many kgs can one fit in? Thinking if I could carry 23kgs of clothes as moving abroad. Thank you.

Hello! I would say it can hold that much. I have carried 20kg of gear with ease with this bag. Take care!

I can't understand why it's more expensive than for example Osprey counterpart?
