Brooke Anne Gracie this is great I agree. Sometimes it’s not just eating healthy that will make you drop the weight, but putting your mental state in the right mindset will make it that much easier. By creating goals that are getting to the root of the problem you’re actually progressing.
Unfortunately at this point the only way I think she’ll ever be successful in any “weight loss journey” is if she seeks professional help. She can’t do it on her own because she is never ALL in.

Yep. 297 was my wakeup call. What was the real wakeup call was seeing my sister's wedding photos and seeing a giant blob next to my gorgeous sister on her wedding day. I was in so much denial before that, but you couldn't deny those photos. 5 years later I'm 109lbs. 188lbs down. My pcos has improved drastically, my hypothyroidism is under control and I feel 100x better. It was a long journey of staying my thyroid medicine, eating clean, plenty of water, and A LOT of cardio. I've watched Amber for quite sometime now and I truly don't believe she wants to lose weight. She's in denial and constantly makes up excuses. I hope this time she sticks with, but I don't have much hope with that.

Actually, Destiny (her ex) was normal and just chubby but after the relationship with Amber, she gained so much weight she’s now technically almost morbidly obese. I really hope Ambers ways don’t affect Becky. Food is like a drug to Amber, she has to have it. First off you need to distinguish between "haters" and people who valid criticisms. It's easy to push it all off and say everyone is just hating, instead of taking the comments on bored and really thinking about them. I've said before that you will have hard days and will fail some days, but not to beat yourself up too much and get back on track. You say you do get back on track and i hope that is the case, however you cant deny that people here have a point when they are talking about the change in weigh in, you have been videoing it and now you post pictures which could have been taken at any time. Maybe a way to prove the sceptics wrong would be to show your camera roll that should show when the pics was taken so no big deal, right? You should really face the fact that you bullied Becky in to doing what you wanted and treated the person you love horribly and for what? food? I know deep down, even when you are in a binging mood you know that's wrong, but you know it works so you go with it. I was thinking the same. Eating is not something you "do" when "there is nothing else to do", just like you don't go to the toilet when "there is nothing else to do". Eating serves the purpose of replenishing energy and nutrients, you do it when you are hungry.

You should invest in a therapist instead of the gym. You can always walk outside now it's getting nicer out. Getting abusive towards your girlfriend isn't good if you love her. OMG you think you know EVERYTHING... you claim to be such an expert on everything from mental health to weight loss... and you just aren't. just get help. just ONE therapy appointment.. [btw, going to someone as an adult is 100% different than going as a child, and I want becky to know that too....] trust me, I know I've been in your shoes with foster care, with my own drug addiction etc. however as a recovering heroin addict I don't and didn't have the luxury of "taking it slow" and not being perfect blah blah blah how ever you wanna stretch the idea of improving yourself so it sounds impossible... ONE slip up and I could die. My sister was clean for months [yes, perfectly clean not slipping up twice a month] and when she did slip up, she fucking died. I was once told in rehab [my third time there and I was being a know it all... which to be fair, I get it, dealing with the issues even without improving can teach you a lot] but she told me "being a patient and client doesn't make you knowledgeable, it just makes you a perpetual patient and client." it pissed me off at the time but I think you need to understand that.... struggling with something doesn't make you an expert. it makes you sick. GET HELP AMBERLYNN. it's about your mental health. the weight is just a symptom of your issue, so losing weight here and there while still "slipping up" and having binges ISN'T OKAY. YOU. ARE. NOT. OKAY.

I think what I was missing was humility and I think perhaps our Amber could use a dose too. Once I admitted and understood that I didn’t know anything then I was actually able to be teachable. Thank you, it'll be two years next month and of course it's still hard, especially that I'm still here and she's not, I guess it's a bit of survivors guilt. But I agree, I think looking back humility is what finally helped it click for me too.. And HUGE congratulations on your 8 months! Trust me, it gets so much easier and better. The first year is the hardest, you should be so proud.

Until Becky leaves you high and dry like Dustin. You’re not going to change. You’re going to keep making excuses because you both are comfortable with each other. You both can complain all you want but you you’ll keep binging and going into old habits. Then you give up and make all kinds of justifications, and use emotions to manipulate everyone into feeling bad for you so they feel too guilty to hold you accountable. I totally agree with Becky, alone and eating was an activity you could do alone. Spaghetti with butter was so good. We are both great examples of motivation! And I know amberlyn can do this but she needs to want it as bad as we did and this will be one of her biggest achievements of her Life. But all she keeps telling herself and giving us all nothing but excuses but she is not hurting noone but herself! She has such a beautiful face but her weight is taking her beauty away. 5 years later I'm 109lbs. 188lbs down. My pcos has improved drastically, my hypothyroidism is under control and I feel 100x better. It was a long journey of staying my thyroid medicine, eating clean, plenty of water, and A LOT of cardio.

First off you need to distinguish between "haters" and people who valid criticisms. It's easy to push it all off and say everyone is just hating, instead of taking the comments on bored and really thinking about them. I've said before that you will have hard days and will fail some days, but not to beat yourself up too much and get back on track.
You say you do get back on track and i hope that is the case, however you cant deny that people here have a point when they are talking about the change in weigh in, you have been videoing it and now you post pictures which could have been taken at any time. Maybe a way to prove the sceptics wrong would be to show your camera roll that should show when the pics was taken so no big deal, right?
You should really face the fact that you bullied Becky in to doing what you wanted and treated the person you love horribly and for what? food? I know deep down, even when you are in a binging mood you know that's wrong, but you know it works so you go with it. Amberlynn should be able to loose much more weight than 20 pounds in a month. Eating 2000 calories a day and doing light activities she should be loosing more weight.
