Don Airey plays the keyboards on the 'Nostradamus'-album. He does most keyboard work for the band in studio. The intro reminds me of his work on the intro for Ozzy's 'Centre of Eternity' off the 'Diary of a Madman' LP.
I just love when cameramen/editors have no clue between a guitarist playing a solo and a guitarist playing a rhythm!! So annoying. Especially when this is the only live version of this song.
It's common practice not to push the higher notes on live performances, especially considering his age. Judas Priest's songs really take a high toll on the vocal chords if they're all done in the studio notes.
What's funny is he would fucking be badass on this song now in 2024 because in 2008 he was weak, not doing high notes and low power. Not sure what was going on but he would totally do this song justice now oddly.
This is a highlight off the album for me.
The most metal moment ever. Rob on the throne 🤘😎 seen it live and it was badass

When I looked at Rob's struggle while singing I thought the Messenger of death would cut his head with a scythe. He seems to be exhausted.
The Cain is part of the act
