Chris, I love the Q&A sessions. Sorry about the insulting comments. I don’t think people realize how hard you and Gabby work to look after all your animals. Even when you’re sick, the animals still need your attention. Heck, even taking care of one dog is not easy. They’re just like children and need constant looking after. I understand why you cut some of it out, probably smarter to do so. Just want to say I personally would always liked to hear the whole thing with no cuts though :) Even if you already said some or all of it in the past. If it was up to me,I would have 98% Nile crocs and all the other animals 2%,but I understand that not everyone wants that ,and am glad in 1 way that I don't get that as I've got to know the other animals with their quirks and foibles.I can't understand how anyone can profess an interest/liking to 1 particular creature,and not fall in love with any other animals.It's strange and weird to me. Don’t feed your dogs kibble, and give them plenty to chew on, hooves, Himalayan dog chews and bully sticks are some of the best options and this will really go a LONG way to keep their mouths healthy, but yes as they get older they need a professional cleaning too. ❤🐾

My family vet of I dunno… at least 25 years at that point made sure that I knew the extra importance of dental hygiene with my little guy. My vet compliments me every visit on his teeth and bully sticks are a favorite!
Also, Praire Dogs have been associated with importing cases of Monkey Pox. It's iffy as to transmission, at least the last I read, but there's always a risk of zoonotic diseases when you mess with exotic critters.
How far can the Prairie dogs go down? You do have a bottom and side so they can’t dig out of it, and do they just dig tunnels, then change the tunnels?
I didn't know Poppy and Cheeky came together. It's odd how they're polar opposites. I have a Chihuahua mix and his teeth are ridiculously hard to keep clean. He will NOT chew on any toys. The only toy he's interested in is a bento ball, and even then, he won't chew on it, he just sits there and licks the treat. 🙄 I started feeding him a raw diet 2 years ago, and even that won't keep his teeth clean. My vet said to use doggy toothpaste once a day, even if you can't brush it on, smearing it on with your finger is enough. I got some, but remembering to do it is another story. I also got him some treats called Oravet, that I planned on giving him at bedtime, but again, remembering is another thing. If you see this Gabby, and want to try them, start with a half of one or you'll end up with green diarrhea. They're not easy to cut in half either. I did brush his teeth yesterday, and found out he's missing a front tooth. 😲 I have no idea when that came out, or on what. I'm guessing a pork bone or chicken leg.
As if people are that rude to accuse you guys of hiding the animals why can’t they just be grateful that we get to see them in the first place and realise that it’s cold and alligators don’t do anything but go up and down in the pool 😂 would Gaston been bloated effect him in the cold if he can’t sink to the bottom to keep warm or is he ok just bobbing around if you put warm water running into his pool and if he can’t get the bloating fixed will you just let him live out his life at the sanctuary as long as he isn’t suffering.
You should contact the company that helps with water ponds and do a go fund me or take pics of the animals and do an ink paw print signature of the winner or that whom makes the request.

Same. Breeding etc and reptile expos...not good for animals. Profiting off pain and suffering. They don't care what happens. Same as 98 percent if any breeder. Horse, dog etc. Until the animals are abused, suffering, overbred, in shelters etc.
I don't think anyone besides a real sanctuary should be able to own poisonous snakds, big predators, monkeys etc. They just suffer if not kept by good rescues
@@susanmartin3762 I have basically zero experience with snakes (unless you count my dad showing me the garter snakes in our backyard growing up) and every time I’ve seen them like that it’s always seemed off. But since that’s not an area I’m familiar with I figured there must be some reason for it, but I couldn’t think of a “why”. Still don’t understand, but yeah it doesn’t seem beneficial in any way (to me, at least).

Same. Breeding etc and reptile expos...not good for animals. Profiting off pain and suffering. They don't care what happens. Same as 98 percent if any breeder. Horse, dog etc. Until the animals are abused, suffering, overbred, in shelters etc.
I don't think anyone besides a real sanctuary should be able to own poisonous snakds, big predators, monkeys etc. They just suffer if not kept by good rescues
I hate racks. I don't know HOW ANYONE can think keeping an animal in a drawer is healthy and beneficial to any snake! 😢
@@susanmartin3762 I have basically zero experience with snakes (unless you count my dad showing me the garter snakes in our backyard growing up) and every time I’ve seen them like that it’s always seemed off. But since that’s not an area I’m familiar with I figured there must be some reason for it, but I couldn’t think of a “why”. Still don’t understand, but yeah it doesn’t seem beneficial in any way (to me, at least).
