First you have to find the rough focal length of the convex lens . Then multiply it by 1.5, that is taken as first u value. In this experiment image formed on the screen must be enlarged one .
Nothing change actually we have different methods for some experiment.... And also these videos are actually prepared for our school students ... Not in a general aspect... So didn't include that type of extra diloag and explanation.... Pls what's app me your doubt and suggestions 9645036985 U v methods means image formation should take place ... That's only didn't stick on values of u ... We can take any value for u.... Only condition is image formation should occurred...
@@haricvm sir if a student use a convex lens of focal length 10cm for this experiment, its image distance for u=36cm is 13.84cm(position of the screen). Then it is impossible to place a convex mirror between the lens and the screen. So we have to select the value u according to the convex lens used.

There need to be an extra screen to see the image by the convex mirror and if the image is getting in the wire gauze that the ray is going through convex lens again
Here wire gauze side itself act as screen so can avoid extra... More over Length from object and image to mirror should be equal.... Then only that equations is valid.....so it's better to use wire gauze side as screen
