  • www.primephysiquenutrition.com - In this episode, I interview Michelle from Purely Twins (purelytwins.com) who shares her inspirational eczema journey on how she healed and overcame eczema.
Michelle and her twin sister, Lori, run an online blog about fitness, health, and recipes. Michelle is not only a blogger, but also a personal trainer and recipe developer.
She has come a long way on her journey, as she’s tried many things that haven’t worked, but she’s also found other things that have worked to help her reach healing.
It’s inspiring because she talks about never giving up, even when you feel like you’ve been doing as much as you can, because you never know - you might just be one step away from healing your eczema.
    Here's what you'll learn in today's podcast:
    -How eczema affected Michelle’s life
    -How Michelle healed her eczema
-How light therapy/phototherapy can help eczema
-Why protein is needed in healing your eczema
-How epsom salts brought eczema relief
-How mindset can make a difference in your skin
    -Michelle’s transformational eczema story
-Products that worked best for her eczema
-The diet that worked best for Michelle

Speaking of trying new things...I have just started helminth therapy for my eczema! Kind of icky but I'm interested to see if it makes a difference!

I have had eczema my entire life. I have had 4 biopsies which showed nothing but dermatitis. I've done the light therapy, cream steroids, oral steroids, etc. The only thing that has helped is the steroids but I know they are not good for me. My skin doesn't itch terribly but it's so discolored. I am definitely addicted to sugar. My fear with trying to control it thru diet is that I won't ever be able to eat a cookie again, have honey in my tea, or enjoy dinner out with friends. Can you tell us how you balance?

+Suzanne Abigail I haven't tried ACV just fear I guess. I'm going to try it. How often are you using it?

+Suzanne Abigail Ok thanks. After you spritz the ACV mixture, do you wash it off or just go ahead and moisturize? I'm going to try this tonite.

+Suzanne Abigail thank you for this. I have started eating differently and taking a probiotic three times a day and using an ACV SPRAY after I shower before moisturizing. I've noticed some positive change in my eczema. I hope it continues. Thank you

+Suzanne Abigail Thanks again. Can you also tell me if Vega protein powder is ok to use in my smoothies? I'm actually making bone broth today & I purchased the Leaky Gut support from Dr. Axe website to add to my green smoothie shake in the morning. I'm very committed to fixing this problem without steroids.
