- This is a great half day walk, taking in Carnedd Y Filiast (821m), Mynydd Perfedd (812m), Elidir Fawr (924m) and Elidir Fach (787m). It is not too difficult, and there is minimal scrambling, but best done in good visibility.

Yeah, weather is all to pot isn’t it. At least we are not dying in 45 degree heat! We could do with a bit of sunshine though before the summers out. 👍

Yes, I was surprised how good it was, and how quickly I finished. Adding Foel Goch, and maybe Y garn on would make it a cracker. 👍

Its a cracking walk - I did this in late Feb with a good friend who lives in Deiniolen. Great if you just have a couple of hours to kill.

@@OutandaboutwithSpencer Just after the summit, going roughly south, before you get to the wall head to the left to the edge and you get a great view. I found out about them from Paul Gannon's Rock Trails book. Great read.

This is one of my favourite walks in Snowdonia and Elidir Fawr is in my top 3 summits
It was my first time, really enjoyed it and the views are superb. 👍
This is also one of my favourite walks, I actually bumped into Adam (from the above comment) on the summit of Elidir Fawr one time!

@@OutandaboutwithSpencer yeah they really are , sea one side, mountains on the other. Elidir summit a perfect pyramid of smashed rock
unfortunately did it in poor visibility nighmare
Still a good walk, but the views are fantastic. Hopefully, next time you'll get a clear day. 👍
