Great reaction as always. I love how Battlestar is slowly gaining momentum amongst the react channels. Even just a year ago, there was basically none. Adama getting shot is a top tier react moment. Also, the ‘Shape of Things To Come’ - amazing piece of music.
Agreed. To me it seemed like modern viewers only knew of BSG from The Office and just treated it like a reference to that one line. But I've been seeing an uptick in people (reactors or otherwise) actually checking out the show because its hit its 20th anniversary and are actually seeing why its a good show.
Your screams at the end perfectly demonstrate how I felt the 1st time watching this season finale waaaay back when aired on TV. Thank you for a great reaction!!! 😊💚
Everyone was acting their arses off in these last two episodes! Each one has moments of pure character acting genius: Boomer's struggle with self identity, Starbuck and her inner turmoil, Roslyn facing a ticking time clock of Cancer while the weight of saving humanity, Gaius and his amazing ability to be one of the most hated humans that you may start to feel conflicted for, Helo...WTF getting Sharon preggos, Lee's death pleas for help screaming for Doc Cottle while Adama bleeds out in the COM. That was just a few moments amongst many more. Simply put...BSG is fracking amazing!!!
This was the first time that Katee Sackhoff(Starbuck) and Tricia Helfer (Number 6) worked together, and they barely knew each other. Now they are best friends and motorcycle buddies. Not bad after punching each other out the first time they work together!
Even though I didn’t get into this show until many years after it started, I was still really shocked at the whole shooting at the end. It was a complete shock!😱
This show has some stunning qualities. The writing, the direction, the acting and the music are all top notch. And this show really knows how to leave you with a serious cliffhanger.😯
I sat and watched this on its first run at my uncles (who has since sadly passed away, we would watch this together on a friday night), but this was a serious episode, it had me in so many emotions. A great memory.
When they said a dying leader will lead them to Earth in their scriptures, I really thought it was referring to president Roslyn's cancer After Adama got shot unexpectedly, was he the dying leader the stories are interpreting?
One of my favorite shows of all time getting recognition by a younger generation and enjoyed this much is truly a great feeling to have and sight to behold.
I'm not religious at all, but by the gods do I love the way BSG engages with religion and the mystical. In Star Wars it's just magic; Star Trek discards it entirely; most other sci-fi doesn't even pay attention to such a fundamental part of the human culture and psyche. BSG's take isn't THAT deep, but compared to its peers it feels like it's on another level of being honest and thoughtful and nuanced-and it maybe even approaches something meaningful. Twenty years later and we've still never seen anything like it.
One of the reasons why Star Trek: Deep Space Nine was arguably the best Star Trek series is because it touched on religion and became a huge part of Sisko's mission at Bajor. Ronald Moore was extremely influential in that series and there's similar religious themes in BSG.
Star Wars magic?? Most certainly this story is very much religion. The force, ghostly afterlife, absolute good v absolute evil, virgin birth of the 'saviour'.

20 years later, and this two-part season finale is still a banger.
Aside from Sharon shooting Adama and wanting to destroy Galactica, SHE'S AWESOME!

Love your reactions to BSG. When are u starting season 2?
Unbelievable season finale. So much going on, but it was all paced so well. The wait for season 2 was KILLER! 😫
Not like the wait for season 3 was any better =p
"The Shape of Things to Come" is constantly on play in my Spotify library. Amazing musical composition by McCreary.
"Finally someone who did not betray me today" when *kaboom*
This show is so good. I'm glad people still appreciate it after all these years. Still one of my top favorites.

27:00 was me the first time I saw this scene. I was overwhelmed and had a difficult time comprehending the beauty of the scene.
Waiting for the next season to start AFTER that finale felt like entertainment torture!
So say we all!!!
Fantastic finale. I miss seeing this show for the first time :)

After Adama got shot unexpectedly, was he the dying leader the stories are interpreting?
Never thought of that, despite many rewatches, but it could have been some foreshadowing now that you mention it.
You got a Like for not splitting up the eps!
Now imagine having to wait a year for the second season. Be happy that you can see what happens next with the push of a button!
Hey, I'm new here. Just wanted to say I love this series and appreciate your commentary! Good luck with the channel.
Here.
We.
Go!!!!

Jesus Gaius
I'm glad you didn't have the ending spoiled by some clickbait thumbnail reveal.
Did the reactions stopped here? I can’t find season 2 on your videos

Soooooo... you were a little surprised here and there, it seems.
Are you ever going to upload any more battlestars Galactica? Just wondering

@@chaost4544Deep Space Mine is my least favorite Star Trek series.
The way they ended the season like that was well rude. It was about 6 months before season two started airing back in the day.
Did he quit this show :/?
