One question: On your lesson where you teach us how to insert sound and also change the time each slide sits---what I can't figure out is the following--how long is the whole thing? It isn't obvious to me because it is longer than the amount of time of the slides with those transitions. Second, let's say on the last sample picture I picked like yours of the animals running with the sound, I wanted to have that sound. I inserted music from a symphony before using your technique. How do I cut the sound just before the horses running picture in order to have that music remain? I tried a variety of things but can't figure out how to fade it and have the other start up without having all sorts of things happen I don't want. Is there an easy way to do this? +carolinespec If the audio is longer than the Whole PowerPoint, it will stop midway and start all over again when the PP Repeats, if that is set. You could trim the Audio to match the amount of time, go to Audio Tools - Playback and look for Trim Audio. Regarding not having the background playing for a video slide: is this the last slide? if that is the case; calculate the total amount of time -minus the time for last slide. Now Trim the audio to this time. If the video slide is in the middle somewhere. Than trim it to the time before the video slide. And add the Sound again in the slide after the video slide.

Hi. I love your video workshop. I would like to know how can I hide slides that I link to? For an example if I go to a slide that discusses the hierarchy of an organization. Let's say I want to connect a page in my slide to the position and discuss it further. Without having to duplicate the slide or show it in my direct slide show. I just want to access it through clicking on that one item. My exam is due today please help.
Savvy Mom if you right click on the Slide you will see an option to "HIde slide". I am currently away from my laptop, so cannot look into the Tabs, but if you look in the Tabs, you will see an option to HIde Slide too. Hope this helps, I will reply in a day or two with exact location of the Button in the Ribbon. All the best.
Savvy Mom I hope you found the answer, the Hide Slide button is under Slide Show tab. You can also create a Custom Show in which you choose the slide to run.
Thanks for the wonderful comment. to add the Copyright Symbol, go to INSERT and than SYMBOL and you will see the copyright symbol in there somewhere, choose it and click Insert. You will not be able to do this in the Windows that pops up for Header/Footer. So add the basic Footer and click Apply. Now click on the Box for Footer and you can insert the Symbol. Hope this helps.

Why is the TH-cam Captions so bad at translating what you say?! It shows multiple swear words in the Captions that Amir didn't say at all.. And I thought Google Captions were bad..
+Builder Dude I believe it must be due to my accent. The computer are still learning various accents and I happen to have grown up in India, spent 5 years in Atlanta studying and have lived in Canada for the last 10 years. So a mixture of accents must be confusing the computer :) Even I had turn on captions once to see and was amazed to see the captions.
Well that makes more sense of why it can't seem to correctly put what your're saying into Captions. But what do I say to my teacher? .-. I was watching this in school to help me for the Certification Test. :/
+SweetWzw Did a quick check. Looks like it is not possible. There is an option to Insert - Break, however that does not give you the option to set that particular page to a different Orientation.
+Sheila Wilson Try and restart the computer and see if that solves. Next step might be to RESET the tab, you will the button in the window on the bottom. And finally go to Programs and features in the Control Panel. look for Microsoft Office, click on it and on the top you will see an option to Repair.
