The single version suffers from bad editing. If they'd left the dribble effects out and just adjusted the cuts/transitions to sound natural, it wouldn't be a problem.
I’ve listened to Girls Aloud a lot down the years and this track didn’t grab me hugely initially but oh how it has grown on me and stayed with me ever since. It is a timeless classic and what a fantastic song to end their time recording new material together. GA & Xenomania will never be forgotten!

Thank god, the instrumental version of the album version. Although the album version is really long, it's so much better than the single version.
