You actually CAN pop a 10c or even a 11c Jack if you really WANT/NEED to. 10 Don turn you play moria get franky and toy soldier. With franky you end up with 3 active don instead 2, then use soldier for -3, then use ice age for -5, then with the remaining 2 don use top knot. In this case you can‘t use the lead ability for top knot since you used it earlier for franky and you also got no don left for giant but like i said you can pop a 10c if you really want to
For sure, I've definitely done it before! Like I said in video, this was my 2nd attempt at recording after being up all day, doing locals and then doing everything at 3am lol. I was beat
Any other insights to playing this deck you can give us? Running a similar list and consistently just barely losing. Do you prefer first or second (match up specific?) ? Do you play the sanji on 6 or do you play franky to cycle and save sanji to pop a big body? When I use sanji mid game to control tempo I feel like I should have saved him for later. When I save him for later I feel like I should have used him mid game to control 😂 Thanks man
I prefer first, need to get to 3 so you can resolve Zoro your turn 2 and you're typically just winning. If there's a threat I'll drop the Sanji otherwise it's almost always Franky and hold Sanji. Unless they're on Aggro deck and I NEED to pop a target. I actually had a drastic overhaul to this deck that I'm gonna try tomorrow to see how I feel about it! One New tech i will say is the 1 cost event searcher "When you're at Sea, You Fight Pitates".
@@Vegansk824 Had to play super aggressive. The new robin unit is real rough into 4 life decks that have no life control. Held my Sanji pops and tried to counter out of every robin leader swing I could cause I needed the extra life cards for hand lol.
Thank you! To make it more control then it'd probably be a sanji, a gum gum gattling, maybe a moria depending on ratios after. There's an argument for the 9 drop luffy too for sure
The list feels very bricky but your success with it speaks for itself :D though if you don't find moria and franky early there's no way to cycle through deck and trash dead cards. Since we're already a four life leader I feel like we don't have the luxury to rely on hope and the heart of cards 😄 What's your experience generally with the bricks? Or how do you handle bricked starting hands?
@ZMTNG I haven't had too much issue tbh. Giant and Gataling also trashes with Franky to fuel grave. And I play Bepo and Soldier to have a 2k 2 cost and 1 cost Law to have targets in grave. I was testing Borsalino blocker for a bit and liked it alot
this deck list is SUPER cool i think the main reason you run SEC luffy is just because he's searchable so if you don't have top end turn 5/6 you can atleast try to search him and i wouldn't cut him for that reason alone. The only questions i have is like if you don't like that 9 cost why not run 10 drop luffy and why did you decide to not run mr.2? this leader plays g5 very well and he essentially has rush + being searchable. i think this deck is still really good without bonchan and im personally happy he's not there so i dont have to pay for him 💀 but i am wondering what your reasoning for leaving him out was.
@fathertaira I actually don't really care for Bon in the deck. He just sits most of the time or becomes a 1k counter. And he rarely was the best target for Moria. 10 drop Luffy was in the first draft brew at 2, but he slowly got phased out to cut down on the top end. Was having an issue of too many top end in opening alot and losing quickly cause we couldn't ramp to 10 faster than they were getting us low in life. And being a 4 life leader certainly didn't help. I'd honestly either run more of either 9 drop Kaido or a 4th 7 srop Sanji. But I do like having rush top end, and the extra attack made the decision for the Luffy>Sanji at 4. But being able to drop Sanji and end with Franky at end of turn always felt really good
@XxHygherUpxX It definitely requires a bit of thought and execution. Setting stuff up for end game and doing Don counts for when you put back and then get new ones for leader can definitely be difficult. But when you get it down, it's so rewarding

Nice list, what cards would you take out to add more 9c kaido and the top knot?

I cant get hold of a single top knot. Anything i could use in the meantime?

@@MrBagelBites k ill use lightning till i find top knot thx

hey I'm wanting to build a black purple luffy and I tried it on the Sim and i had a struggle to play it and is it a hard deck to master thanks

would be good to know how many rounds u played undefeated and what matchups, titel a bit heavy clickbait if not 4:0 5:0 vs meta decks :D ggs
@nudemacher1421
Yea thats crazy, I definitely didn't say any of that information in the first minute of the video. How could I be so foolish? smh lmao
