I'm watching this video all the way through for the second time. The detail is great. (I can't do this repair because I have the same flashlight.....but it's orange. And my 3/8 MAC ratchet is orange too......Lets not even talk screwdrivers.....my tool bench looks like somebody is getting ready for Halloween).
Everything looks just like it did when it came apart........... When you work along side of me, you don't take that little detail for granted. ....anybody know what this spring was for? Where these washers here all along?
I can not get the lower bolt to line up with the alternator. The alternator doesn't line up with the adjusting bracket. I bought a remanufactured alternator. Then a new alternator. Then even tried to put the old one back on. None line up! I'M LOSING MY MIND!!!
@PowerStrokeJude Tried all that. I think the bushing on the hinge portion was out of place enough to keep the alternator out of position. I used a crowbar to jam it. That barely allowed it to line up, but still had to force the pivot bolt through by various violent means.

Just get one bolt started and the rest will fall into place.
I would start with the lower bolt
