They stole it from traffic... Mr fantasy.. lol.. zeppelin were a great Cover band... That's it. Collage artist. 👍🏻💯 You sycophants need to chill and understand the difference.
@@Professorkenneth I played the two songs together just to determine the similarities and it's slight. They are VERY different compositions taken as a whole. I was familiar with both and never noticed it before. In the 60s, there were many songs with similar sounds, riffs, lyrics, etc. Everyone was taking influences from other artists and putting them in their songs. In any case, whatever the origins of some of their songs could have been, there's no question Led Zeppelin were *excellent* musicians even in an era where musical excellence was more the norm than it is today. Whatever artists may have contributed to Led Zeppelin's repertoire, it was *this* band that played and performed all the songs featured on their albums, not those other artists.
Communication Breakdown was my 1st Zep song. Heard it on A.M. radio in my mom's '59 Ford on the way to school back in '69. Never heard of Zep before that. Never heard anyone sing like Plant before that day.
by who? He is one of only 3 that Clapton ever allowed to play slide on Layla. The others being Duane and Derek. Not even Knopfler did.I reckon that's recognition enough!
Lovin this journey THE best way to introduce a ZEP newbie to the masterful genius that is LED ZEPPELIN song by song album by album I'm with you for the whole experience get ready for jaw dropping excellence
Jimmy's "break-up song". It's true, they didn't all sing together much; they obviously did on this, I know they do on Communication Breakdown, I think they do a little bit on Living Loving Maid, and Gallows Pole. Jimmy sings along with Tangerine, Whole Lotta Love, and Bron-Y-Aur Stomp although sometimes Bonzo would sing along on bits of Bron-Y-Aur when they played live. Sandy Denny sings on Battle of Evermore but Jonesy would sing along when played live. I might be missing a few more here but, that's all I can think of at the moment.
Talk about a debut album! I love the juxtaposition between the soulful church organ and the rather vengeful lyrics. Are you gonna do Black Mountain Side and Communication Breakdown separately or put them together? I enjoy how they flow into each other.
Their introduction (1st song, 1st album) to the world, starts with Bonham's triplets on the Bass drum (good times, bad times)!!! And then turns around and puts a drum Solo on their Sophomore album.....who does that!!???
kinda wish that Zep would have recoded a gospel album and redid all the classics... take em to church, up on their feet, down on their knees and jumping on the pews
DJ, DJ,DJ...what are we gonna do with you man ....what are you gonna say after listening to the next 7 ALBUMS, not including their live stuff.. GOOD LUCK...LOL
By the way... is DJ the forgiving type? Just curious... idle curiosity. Because... one day... there will be a scream, "Wha-?!! That's all?!! That's the end?!!"
Will DJ be giving up his rap equivalents, by the way? And has DJ been re-listening to these entire albums without song-breaks, so that tracks that flowed together are flowing for him?
I bought this in West London when it first came out after seeing them singing Communication Breakdown on TV. I can remember the shop and even what the weather was like. For me, this is their best. I bought the second album but skipped the rest. They used to use whole chunks of songs by the old Black blues artists but pass it off as their own. The British groups were admired in the States for paying royalties to these old men, often poor. Zeppelin were differentThey had so much money as to pay plenty to these people. . It put me off them.
This is one of the most under appreciated songs in the LZ catalog!!
It's one of the best Led Zeppelin songs every and how I start every day cancer free!!!
They stole it from traffic... Mr fantasy.. lol.. zeppelin were a great Cover band... That's it. Collage artist. 👍🏻💯 You sycophants need to chill and understand the difference.
rain song too

One of the strongest proofs of the great ability of Jp Jones
will never be to late for listen to led 😉 one more soul received the magic true rock and roll
And one of the most underrated songs on this Album and my favorite:
Communication Breakdown!
I'd say this song is the most underrated and Communication Breakdown is the most overrated.
Communication Breakdown was my 1st Zep song. Heard it on A.M. radio in my mom's '59 Ford on the way to school back in '69.
Never heard of Zep before that. Never heard anyone sing like Plant before that day.
Communication Breakdown isn't underrated at all when compared to the whole album
@@jensclarberg6419 The word 'underrated' is overrated and overused/misused, especially on YT.
As a young boy I would listen and sing to this song. It was and still is one of my favorites
Sensational song from a sensational album. Not a bad song on it. Perfection.
You know every Zep song is driven in three ways, but JB on the drums is always....always the main hidden magic.
The magic ain't hidden. The most unique sound of all time on drums.
I totally forgot about this song. Thanks for the reminder!
Jimmy is so underrated on his slide ability. 🎸🔥
You re right!!
As well as acoustic ability.
You’re 💯absolutely spot on….it’s as if he was mistaken for John Paul Jones🎸🎶

Jimmy Page was *never* "underrated". You mean _understated._ Please use the proper term.

Once again DJ has to hold his face so LZ doesn't melt it off !
HE DID THIS IN EVERY VIDEO! Glad you noticed!
There’s something so satisfying about seeing people exposed to potentially the greatest band to ever exist for the first time in their life

Honestly, that's more songs than I would have guessed
@@GetSidewaysReacts I almost forgot, Bonzo would occasionally harmonize on the "las" during The Ocean also.
Chills….goosebumps…
“Way to smooth” that’s right on brother.
Greatest ever!!

nice steel guitar by Pagey as well bro!
Well, if you watched today, you have the answer and an explanation as to why I did what I did
@@GetSidewaysReacts Thanks. I just watched it. The last three songs are epic too.

90% of their songs are pure genius.
You need to have him react to baby pleese come home off of the coda album..straight up blues
We will get there eventually
I love this song man! great video!
my favorite
The battle song for
Every man's. 💔. broken
From a lady 💙💙💙
One of their best songs!
I've been commenting to reactors that this one of Zeppelin's best....!!!
100%
Ugh I wish I could listen to Zeppelin for the first time again lol
Same
I think I actually read somewhere that John Paul Jones did the organ part in a church and that's why it sounded so ominous
Just wondering how many eargasms DJ can take before his brain starts melting out of his ears?
Nice react. 👍
The song with Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham singing backing vocals.
top five zep song for me
Another reation u should do is led zeppelin the bbc sessions
Right on man...the early RAW stuff is so different but shows you how they evolved to the Super Group, that they are !
Dj thought he was in church before, this will make him never want to leave the sanctuary.
rap or rock omg ROCK 100%
Hey,..The opening of the song with a church sounding organ.
kinda wish that Zep would have recoded a gospel album and redid all the classics... take em to church, up on their feet, down on their knees and jumping on the pews
Hammond B-3 Organ and Pedal Steel Guitar.
he was thinking how the f..k am i gonna dance that ?
DJ, DJ,DJ...what are we gonna do with you man ....what are you gonna say after listening to the next 7 ALBUMS, not including their live stuff.. GOOD LUCK...LOL

It was D-3 Hammond!🤨 Dude it was just Plant over dubbed...and you call yourself a Led Head?🤨
That has to be the worst Zep songs I've heard
...What? It's a great song..
What a completely asinine comment about one of their greatest songs.
