Most people. Those who are nice honestly, do not think of themselves as nice or good people. The nicest people are those who believe themselves inherently flawed.
If we look at some of the actual nicest people to ever live we usually look at Mr Rogers or Bob Ross. Notice how these men built their image around something other than being a nice person, and the fact that they are nice was actually secondary to their intended goals. For Mr Rogers it was teaching children and for Bob Ross it was teaching people how to paint.
Funnily enough, Bob Ross was a drill sergeant, A DRILL SERGEANT! His entire job was trying to break people down to see if they’re ready for war, but even that doesn’t really change how I view him.
Another popular example of that is Steve Irwin. A trend between those people - their careers are built around spreading what makes them happy, in an effort to let others have that same effect.
I love how Charlie gets straight into his videos, no "like the video and subscribe, don't forget to buy the merch" and all they, and he just ends with "alright, cya"

One of the saddest Ellen interviews I ever watched was when she had a little 5 year science loving boy on. She would ask him questions about planets, space, etc. and when he would answer she would make little jokes about him and mock him to make the audience laugh, and you could just see this little boy trying to smile while he had a huge audience of adults laughing at another grown adult mocking him for something he loves. I wanted to give that poor kid a hug. Edit: I truly dont care if you think the interview was fine or not, it made ME feel uncomfortable. Wasnt expecting people to come defend Ellen as if she is gonna see this comment 🙄🙄 its also not as if this one specific kid was the first "kid genius" on her show, I've seen multiple and all ended up being a mockery of how nerdy the kids were etc etc. I'm not saying she ruined their lives, I'm sure they got cool stuff and snacks and whatever but it doesn't sit right with me. @@JKARAZMOJML Exactly! You never know how a pregnancy is going to go in the first three months - and quite a few women do miscarry during this time. Shame on Ellen for doing that!
That was a shitty thing to do, I feel so sorry for Mariah Carey and then learn the fact that she had a miscarriage, there are a number of reasons why people don't like to announce that they are pregnant right away.
Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens. YES PROBABLY why she didnt want to mention her pregnancy. Its also no ones business to know because that is personal and its even harder when you’re famous. Ellen is a nasty person
...I guess we could always “introduce” her to death... But on a more serious note, that’s always going to be the case in situations like this, isn’t it? Unless you decide to sue her massively (and at that would there even be a solid case you could build?) the best you can do is stop supporting her as (an) individual(s) and refuse to give her extra money from now (although bear in mind that doesn’t stop her from using money she has or making more!)
I've never liked how aggressive and imposing she is towards people, as if she should dictate how they feel and act. She's violating boundaries for the sake of comedy and the audience is convinced that her guest loves her and isn't really irritated, they're just playing along. She has them all convinced that they're watching a couple argue, not two individuals with different boundaries and beliefs having a conversation. That level of imposed delusion is why I dislike most celebrities and most talk shows.
My parents are very against homosexuality and was very against her. They slowly started to lessen their dislike toward her and then started to like her and her game show. And then this happened.

I remember as a little kid, adults would tell me how nice and charitable she was. But when I would watch bits of her show on TV it always seemed sort of contrived or fake. It was weird how she talk about nice stuff but the moment she done her expression like resetted back to default as if she forced those expressions as if she's a robot
Now I don't like Mariah Carey as much as the next guy but with all due respect, she should file a charge against Ellen for that. You don't coerce a pregnant woman to drink champagne on national television, and you don't force her to tell you she's pregnant cuz it's none of your damn business
That was genuinely one of the most questionably despicable things I've ever seen. In any other scenario, that is a friendship-ending move right there. That's how you get someone to never, EVER talk to you again.
I mean she could've had the whole glass and no negative results would've happened . You aren't supposed to drink when you're pregnant but one glass won't kill your child .
Plus there was that time where Taylor Swift was on the show and literally crying meanwhile Ellen and the audience is laughing hysterically. She's not a good person.
That’s because of the dunning Krueger effect. It’s usually applied to idiots gloating about how smart they are and geniuses being humble, but it can be applied to this as well
It’s strange how someone can you give a particular vibe that tells you that you dislike them, like that deeper part of you, (you’re soul?) but you can never quite say why you dislike them but then later it’s validated as truths come out. That’s how I’ve always felt about Ellen, my gut instinct told me she is a huge fraud but I kept it to myself knowing I could be wrong and didn’t want to upset people who enjoyed her. Glad I’m not the only one who saw her for who she is. She’s not a very nice person.
I dunno, the way Ellen pretends like she is best friends with the guests on her show is like one of the worst traits a human being can have. Wendy Williams at least seems aware that people aren’t friends with her
Wendy Williams is the Onision of talk show hosts. The only difference between Onion head and her is that she isn't a pedophile (unless she is and I just didn't look it up)

If we look at some of the actual nicest people to ever live we usually look at Mr Rogers or Bob Ross. Plus there was that time where Taylor Swift was on the show and literally crying meanwhile Ellen and the audience is laughing hysterically. She's not a good person.
@ all talk shows do
I appear to be out of the loop. Would anyone mind providing context?
@@Bootsingkats gay sex
Swift sucks so that works for me.

Mariah Carry should have thrown that champagne in Ellen's face, it would have made the only Ellen clip that isn't insufferable
The intro is a legit discription of how Shane Dawson talks about himself
"I’m such a nice person I took my cats virginity because he was depressed about being a virgin”
And Keemstar
@@novapariah8135 you mean chemostar
I was thinking the EXACT same thing
SO TRUE
The Mariah part was just sad..
Yup.
You don't push people to make important, personal announcements they're not ready to make yet. Ever.
And that too on a show in front of a huge audience. That's a low fuckin move.
I didn’t know she miscarried until just now (she isn’t someone I follow) and when he mentioned that my stomach just dropped.
That was so uncomfortable too watch.. yikes-
Charlie looks like he can turn water into Smirnoff
More like water into white claw
He can turn meat into testosterone and fat into muscle.
like Jesus
Lmao I would kill for that skill :D
@Yeabsera Woldetsadik haha no more dogs for John. Cats are cautious and got 9 lives.
As soon as he said "I'm not a saint" I automatically thought, "no, you're freaking Jesus"
The craziest thing is the background of Ellen’s show is literally Epstein island and we didn’t know it. (Edit: or at least eerily similar)
lay off ur pipe homie
Ellen knew.
Source?
Nachtschatten THE SOURCE IS THE BACKGROUND
Little Saint James? Why would she have the island in the background? Unless she knew.

We can all agree that a decent deed can go real far
That’s because of the dunning Krueger effect. It’s usually applied to idiots gloating about how smart they are and geniuses being humble, but it can be applied to this as well
Tell that to Shane Dawson
By saying “I am humble” you are showing that you *aren’t* humble
I too am extraordinarily humble
Indeed, it’s like telling everyone how much you don’t talk to people (without any quantifiers to that)...
Nice guys proved that more than enough
Just like how kids say they are mature
The humble thing to say would be 'I try to be humble.'
She really is horrible, but not as bad as Wendy Williams
wendy williams is just dumb, but ellen is actually straight up evil.
I dunno, the way Ellen pretends like she is best friends with the guests on her show is like one of the worst traits a human being can have. Wendy Williams at least seems aware that people aren’t friends with her
Wendy Williams is the Onision of talk show hosts. The only difference between Onion head and her is that she isn't a pedophile (unless she is and I just didn't look it up)
Who
Wee Man dumb and rude to others tho
Ellen is “woman nice” that what my mom calls it, basically she says and does mean things in a nice or friendly way so if the guest reacts negatively she can act like she didn’t mean it that way
isn't that just kinda passive aggressive?
@@scouthatesrainbows it's how a lot of women act. i wish we could just be more like guys, they're really blunt with their feelings about others. if they don't like someone, they make sure they know. women continue to pretend being friends :/
@Tala Habern no
Tala Habern I agree, but it probably doesn’t apply to you if your not passive aggressive ( : so don’t take offense pls
teardrop I think women are generally more social than men and thus try to adhere more to “social cohesion”. Male bluntness trims the fat but could more harshly sever ties. Sidestepping things perpetually may make someone an irritating, passive aggressive friend, but they’ll still keep that status of “friendship” by never fully letting loose.
Ellen's rage stems from her inability to ever equal the career of international megastar Rich Evans.
That's why she had him on the show. She knows that the only way she can stay relevant is to do collabs with much more successful celebrities.
This, but unironically.
I heard every once in awhile, Ellen sits in her dressing room with a thousand yard stare, rocking back and forth in her chair muttering something about 'dick' and a 'birthday boy'
