Best recipe ever! thank you! I made few changes as I used what I had. Olive oil and roasted pecans and icing sugar in the mix instead of granulated sugar. . I also sprayed a tiny mist of rosewater on top of baked cookies before rolling in icing sugar. Superb! Lots of compliments on these kourabiedes! Merry Christmas!
I'm no Christian.. But every Christmas I have to pass by this Greek restaurant in Dubai for these cookies.. Unfortunately they closed so I'm here searching for the recipe.. The ones I had also have chunks of almonds in them 😋😋😋 so yummy
Hi 🌷 Sorry for the late reply. The longer they stay, the better they are. They stay fresh for a long time, and we make a lot of them to have throughout the holidays. You might just have to reapply powdered sugar after a few days, and it's best to keep them in an airtight container. 🌷💖
Just made them following your excellent step by step tutorial. Thank you, they turned out delicious xxx
Thank you! I am so glad you liked it! 💖

Thank you! 🌼
Bravo good vidio like .👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you!! 😊🌼
Love your cookie recipes. May I know what non alcoholic ingredient can I use as substitute for cognac? 😀
Thank you again! 😀 I have never tried to make these cookies without cognac. I would probably use pear juice or orange juice in this recipe
You could skip that part, I did
just leave it out, makes no difference, i never add alcohol.
Greek Metaxa or Brandy works fine too
How long do they stay fresh?
น่ารับประทานมากๆครับ ของผโปรด 😁👍
Good recipe can I cook without egg
Thank you! No, you can't replace nor omit egg 🌼
@@BakingFusion thanks
What is oganac
Hi when you put the sugar on the worm cookies or you wait to be cold and then you put it
Hi ! Oh, I forgot to add that to recipe, thank you for the reminder! Cookies should be completely cold before coating them with powdered sugar 🌼
I used roasted almonds instead of walnuts.
It is great with almonds too ☺️
What can i use instate of cognac
I have never tried these cookies without cognac. But I would probably use orange juice instead of cognac
@@BakingFusion thanks for replying but will it make different cos i dont like orange juice
@@gehadelamary5800 You have to add some juice to replace cognac. Orange juice would be the best but maybe pear juice would work as well

These cookies are really easy to make. Instead of walnuts, you can use almonds in this recipe too. I am glad you like them :) 💖
