DOCTOR / HUSBAND REACTS: Giving is the best communication - Thai Commercial

Someone requested my husband to watch this thai commercial that led them to pursue medicine.
this is def a good one.
i saw it a couple of years ago but forgot about it and the details i didnt pay attention to until now. i cant remember if i cried in the past (im sure i did) but def teared up now!
As a nurse I have to say my heart has a passion for helping and caring for others. I know my husband went into medicine and became a doctor because of a similar heart and drive to cure people's illnesses. We BOTH experience extreme burnout and compassion fatigue, but i feel like his stress is a lot more than mine when it comes to medicine. This commercial definitely helped remind him about the good things in being a doctor (because right now he's sooooo burned out he sometimes regrets the life in medicine).
moral of the story is definitely to always be kind and giving.
pay it forward.
you never know the difference you're making.
that one moment of grace or mercy can affect so many lives.
so always be kind.

i cried too. that old man gave him kindness and then he gives it back to him and also learn to give to other. its like the kindness chain/domino effect. the meaningful life is the life you live for others.

yeah.. it is based on a true story happened 15 years before this viral video was released.. i heared that that doctor is now working in europe or somewhere in americas ..but he opened a free clinic in his town somewhere in thailand.. this story was shared to me by my thai colleague when i was working in bangkok.. although the director claimed it was sensationalized and exaggerated a bit but he made sure that it will deliver the same feeling..the same effect

My son was a resident doctor in a large hospital that city was a Covid epicenter. He volunteered to treat ER patients and his hospital ran out of vents. He found 50 year old vents in an older part of the hospital and made them work. Many patients walked out of that hospital breathing on their own because of his actions.
