  • This crazy apartment is in one of the most historic parts of Manhattan New York City, and the building is so exclusive I was told to stop filming the common areas almost immediately. Luckily, I was still allowed to film the apartment. Would you live in a place like this?

Although I usually scoff at a $5,200/month one-bedroom, considering the district that it's in, it's likely that someone will rent it. Starting with the lobby, everything flaunts its high-end status. The rooms are large, the finishes are classy, and it all says, "I'm on the way up".
BTW, when a food truck says, "Cash only", is it there for just you? That's really exclusive!

WOWEE! $5200/month in the Financial District right around the corner from the NYSE? THAT'S A FABULOUS PRICE! I normally don't like modern too much, but I liked this! It was clean, smooth lines, and you can't complain about storage! It's a fantastic building too! I don't know if most viewers (outside of New Yorkers) can fully appreciate the pretty thorough overview that you do of the neighborhoods Mr. Cash. You were all over here! Havana Social, Stone Street Tavern (yay!), and of course Century 21, are just a few of the "hotspots" one should see and visit when in the area. But... outside of working hours (which are awfully long) there isn't too much to do--particularly on weekends. It's one of the reasons why many automobile commercials are filmed there. It's almost a ghost town down there giving the opportunity for LOTS of space and... solitude!

Nice to see higher end appliances, closet and cabinet storage, personal W & D!

The financial district can be a fun place, in a limited way. I worked there in the late 1960s when the World Trade Center was being built. My cousins became "urban homesteaders" in the 1970s in an older building about a block from WTC that, like this one, was converted from offices to condo apartments, but not nearly as grand as this one. If you live in the financial district, if you want to eat at a restaurant there you better do it for lunch because everything closes at 6:00 PM. You have to get used to bringing your groceries home from another part of the city by taxicab. Impossible to own a car there. Otherwise, OK.

I think that is an office building that was converted to an apartment building. After the first Trade Center bombing business abandoned Wall Street and they converted vacant office space to very cheap apartments. Back then, Wall St. was basically closed at night and not that desirable as a neighborhood thus the cheap price. Lots more action downtown these days.

That apt was pretty fabulous! How special would you feel going into that bldg that’s so incredible? I would love to live there! I’m learning a lot about NYC by watching these videos and it’s making me want to come visit! I can’t afford to do that so I’ll settle for watching your videos! I might be running out of videos to watch though! 😀😊☺️😉😌😙

Beautiful condo! For that money, in that great neighborhood, it's such a value! You only need to make about $187,200/year to rent it and still have money left over to live.
