yamada is a massive wall, a great blocker.
I love Thatdao , but she still needs to improve her blocking techniques. I find Thailand has the poorest blocking techniques out of the 4 top Asian teams. Hattaya is actually a better blocker than her. They have the young promising Tichakorn, but she is on the bench and saw very limited court time during this tournament.
They put Wanitchaya sometimes for middle blocker instead of Thadao in this tournament. Although both Wanitchaya and Tichakorn are usually at the side bench. I wish Hattaya would come back!!!! She not doing so well with her knees injury. Thatdao is Thailand main after Plumjit, but I felt like she still doesn't recover from her injury.
@@moopybobsayhi6480 That's not good to hear about Hattaya. Hope she recovers well. I used to not like Watchareeya, but she has been improving both in attacking and blocking. It would be better if she was just a bit taller too. Tichakorn should have been used more, especially in this tournament. She is young and she needs all the experience she can get before Pleumjit retires.The biggest let down is probably Chitaporn. She is tall, but slow and not very good both at blocking or attacking. Thailand needs more young, tall and talented MB now more than ever.

I like this Japan team over their main team, they're just so amazing! Went toe to toe and even beat the veteran Thailand team, they're insane! Always a classic game whenever these two teams meet. Love both, congrats!

As I commented yesterday, no teams should underestimate a Japanese team whether youth, senior or club and no surprise, Japanese WCH u20 beat both Thailand and Korea's A teams. No excuse for both of them. lol And Ishikawa is just as brilliant as her big brother. She is also MVP again just like u20 WCH.

This Young Japan team played superbly against the veteran Thai team. I am a superfan of Thai team but they should have a young athletic team to take charge of their future national volleyball team. The bar was already set so high by this Thai Team. Congrats to both teams.

Credit to Japan U20 for playing unbelievably well. Excellent defense and offense. What a pity in the fourth set that Thailand could not win. Things could have gone either ways if the match was played in the fifth set .Japan middle blocker Yamada and wing spiker who received MVP are sensational players.They have a killer instinct and they did not have a panic although they played against more experienced Thailand team and showed fantastic defensive skills.They will have a promising future without any doubt .

日本のBチームには、Aチームにあるような「迷い」がない。
やはりセッターをはじめとしたメンバーによる攻め方、私達のバレーというものがなんなのかをきちんとわかっていて、変にやり方をこねくり回したりせず勢い良く試合をしていると思う。
Aチームは未だに正セッターが決まっていないらしいが…
東京五輪まで1年を切っているのに、フォーメーションが定まっていないという状況が考えられない。
これではAチームの選手たちも一体どのような方針で練習していけば良いのか、気持ちの面から勢いよく走っていけないのではないだろうか？
せめて去年までに正セッターを仮にでも決定しておけさえすれば、途中でセッターを変えることになったとしても修正する余地はもっと今以上にあったはずなのに、要となるセッターをいつまでも迷ってしまった結果チームも中途半端になってしまった。
正直もう遅すぎると思う。
Bチームが勝った国にAチームが惨敗したという事実は、思った以上に重く受け止める必要があると思います。
本気で日本バレー関係者はBチームとAチームの総入れ替えを考えたほうが良いと思います。

Je retrouve enfin une équipe du Japon qui a une âme, des filles qui prennent du plaisir sur le terrain et qui sont heureuses d'être ensemble.
C'est la première fois depuis la retraite de KIMURA Saori et l'éviction de certaines joueuses que je regarde avec plaisir un match de l'équipe féminine du Japon.
J'en profite pour féliciter une nouvelle fois l'équipe des 20 ans pour leur titre de championnes du monde.

下手にこのU２０からA代表に誰かを引っ張って行き、使われないで捨てられるよりその方が良い。

This coach was the long time coach of Japan National Volleyball Team(Senior) before being replaced by a new woman coach Kumi Nakada . He must be a good coach cuz his system worked very well on Japan Juniors when they defeated the Thailand's Seniors in this game. This middle blockers must say was much more better and effective than the ones Kumi Nakada had in her senior team.
I think coach Masayoshi Manabe was the former coach of seniors team not coach Noburu before Kumi. I don't know I might be crazy. Lol
