Fun little thing I discovered by accident working on a commissioned layout. Tamiya masking tape looks really good as a weathered road stripe. Take with that what you will, but really a game changer to me since I could adjust it after the fact if it looked off. And its fairly easy to pull if its too far gone.
I'll tell you. I love N scale ! Am curious about z-scale since they say its more scenery oriented. As in the trains are not the main attaction. But thats down the road. I thank you for your videos of both scales.
Nice project. I am curious why you will not be adding wire to the tram pole. I realize they are not needed for power, but you have put in so much other details. Just wondering.
I might still do it but since it is a removable section I just don’t see how I don’t snag the wire on something (even just my hand) and end up ripping out the whole thing on accident.
Excellent! Love the detail work. The icing on the cake! Thanks for sharing!
What a great idea! Never thought of having a swapable section. You really have got me thinking now! Liked and Subbed! Cheers, Andy
WOW! Very impressive work Steve! Looking forward to the next video!
Thanks Jason!

Nice! I’ve thought about trying that.
Great video, Thanks! I’m downsizing and saw your 2x4 and love it! I’m starting to build it now 😊
Would love to see a video on your most favorite layouts that you have built over the years.
I actually have that on my video list to make already!
You’re the small layout kingn
Awesome !!!!
As a viewer from the other side of the Atlantic, really enjoying seeing this project coming together.

Your projects are always great and inspiring. Looking forward to what you have planned.
Great job. Maybe you could add a small tram stop near the tunnel where the pedestrians are to add a little more interest.
Yeah, I should put a little platform there. Tram can always stop in the street to let folks on I guess.
Lots of really nice detail work 👍🏽
Very nice! Thank-you!
Looks great 👍🏻
Wonderful!
Hey Steve I have a I dea do a London underground layout with the Kato cv1
