  • We all know that our holy sages say that jealousy is one of the worse character traits one can have to a point that you can loose your life. But on the other hand other sages say that jealousy can be the best thing for you. Why would they say that and how can jealousy be good for you?

    Todah Rabah Rabbi Anava
    Great drash sir
Jealousy brings rotting to the bones (Mishlei 14:30).
    Totally agreed sir about
Healthy jealousy and evil jealousy. The Master of the universe will judge each person one day, always remain humble and do teshuvah daily
Shalom Rabbi and to your family

The words from this teaching keep resounding in my mind. How many times have I rejected Hashem's design for me because of jealousy, envy, coveting. Not necessarily for self-seeking purposes but in my thinking, to be more valuable in the eyes of Hashem by doing more, better. It is very humbling to think He made me the way I am for His purposes. My energy should be invested in being my best, as a gift to Him and not get frustrated with what I was not designed to do. Thank you!

Okay, RABBI, you have presented this theme or subject of jealousy before and yes there are many ways to display jealousy when you apply the will of GOD before your own ego then jealousy cannot be bad but rather this human condition will reveal the true nature of our creation.

The nahash was a reptilian. In eastern mythology there was a race of creatures called the Naga which where they had the upper body of a human with reptile looking features and the bottom half was that of a snake
