I don't know where you found this guy, but as an Italian I would like to congratulate for the perfect pronounciation and intonation. And the English prononciation also sounds awesome to me.

My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

Italian native speaker here. Allora can be used in other ways than the one expressed in the video, which I'd say to be pretty formal. Allora can be used in "Allora cosa facciamo?" meaning "So what do we do?", or like when someone is talking to you and doesn't finish you say quite angrily "Allora?!" meaning "So, go on!". It can be used for decisions: "Allora andiamo" -> "Let's go then". Make sure not to confuse it with all'ora, which means per hour -> 50km all'ora NOT 50km allora

Buongiorno Lingo Masters! This video is regular listening for me on my commute to work, the timing is perfect. I would request additional videos with questions, statements and a typical response to them, examples: "I'm making a pot of coffee, would you like some?" " Yes, I'd really like that thank you". "I didn't think the drive to the beach would be so far!", "neither did I, glad we left early". Submitted for consideration. Your current videos are great, thanks for putting out awesome work!

Good video! Only thing that bothers me is that maybe you can inform the viewers that in the verb forms the subject is in different persons e.g. 2nd person singular and so on.. Starters who are not familiar with Roman languages won't make the link that "Sei" is 2nd pers. singular from the verb "essere". For me personally it is not a problem, but that is because I can speak French fluently aswell and recognize a lot of verb and verbs forms.

Yes, you're right and yes, it's really correct! They call the sounds 'o aperta' (ò) and 'o chiusa' (ó) as if there are only two distinguishable sounds for o. (Same goes for 'e' by the way.) But in fact, if you listen carefully, there's a subtle gradient of in-betweens. 'Non' is one of those words where the o almost becomes like the English oo in noon. Same goes for 'molto' a little further along in this video. Example of the subtle gradient of different o sounds: "molte parole suonano così strane." Technically there are only two different 'o' sounds here (in 'standard' Italian), but if you let a real Italian say this sentence casually, you will hear the slight differences between them. I'd say there are four different 'o' sounds in this sentence. 'Mólte' almost sounds like 'multe'. 'Paròle' shares the first 'o' sound of 'suònano', but the second 'o' is very short and closed ( ó). 'Cósì' has again the closed 'ó' but it is longer, yet it doesn't sound quite the same as the closed 'ó' in 'mólte'. Hope this helps! Please keep in mind that I'm not Italian myself and that there are variations in pronunciation between the many regions in Italy.

Del = some. Is that correct? Isn't alcuni?

Alcuni is used when talking about more than one items I think. A better translation for alcuni would be a few. You can't say a few breads, so you say del pane, or some bread

Yes you can use di to mean some; “potrei prendere del pane”.
