    Also, Purple Power comes in the 3 gallon container for an even cheaper price!

    I use armorall wheel cleaner mixed with purple power cleaner and it cleans my tires so good. Plus i use a very stiff brush to clean my tires.

    Great content - let's get you to 1k! Quick question: under what conditions would you use Adam's undiluted? Or should we also use the 1:1 dilution ratio?

    • @BelLavoroAutoSpa
      @BelLavoroAutoSpa  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A lot of people use it full strength which is fine. However it sprays and foams much better when diluted 1:1 and is just as strong.

    Thanks for the vid, Adams simply is the boss imo.

      It's really good just wish they would chill out with the price lol. Sometimes amazon has it on a really good deal.

    Purple power not diluted safe on gloss rims in your opinion?

    • @BelLavoroAutoSpa
      @BelLavoroAutoSpa  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Gloss rims I would avoid it. Can etch the high gloss finish and dull it over time.

      @@BelLavoroAutoSpa what would you recommend for rims and tires? The Adam’s product? Truck tires

      @KingCuba0731 Superior Dark Fury. Order a gallon through O'Reillys store and it diluted 4:1 will last you a long time

    Would you recommend it on rims

      Only factory wheels. Be careful with aftermarket

    Purple power is not meant to clean tires and wheels . Grease cutter only . Not a detergent.

    • @BelLavoroAutoSpa
      @BelLavoroAutoSpa  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      On Purple Power's official dilution chart they suggest it at full strength for tires. They suggest it for cleaning and degreasing many different types of surfaces. Degreasers are a popular choice for wheel and tire cleaning and work well as you can see, but not as good as a dedicated cleaner.

    Quality costs money, as do the proper tool for the job.

    super clean is much better then purple power imo and it's only a few bucks more than the PP

    • @BelLavoroAutoSpa
      @BelLavoroAutoSpa  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have used Superclean and I think it is a better general cleaner however purple power is a stronger degreaser, Either way they still don't hold a toch to a dedicated tire cleaner like adams.

      @@BelLavoroAutoSpa I was my car weekly and I can get away with a 3:1 ratio of Adam's for my wheels. If I take longer than 3 weeks them I can bump it up to 2:1 and that's because I have my wheels coated with titanium which makes dirt fall off so quick.

  • @kevinbatangan7569

    Purple Power has worked for me washing cars every weekend sice the lockdown. Can’t be spending 2 to 3 bucks in product for just the tires. Even with Purple Power at full strength sometimes I need 3 applications on tires that are muddy. Still only spending about a quarter in product, maybe 50 cents vs $5. No thats what I call a no brainer!

      It definitely works just takes more effort. For some people time is money!

    ph of wheel cleaner -13.5

    for some reason, the Adams smells like Purple power. Weird

    • @BelLavoroAutoSpa
      @BelLavoroAutoSpa  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They and many other similar products are high alkaline sodium hydroxide based cleaners which gives it that signature chemical odor.

  • @Dee--Jay
    @Dee--Jay 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I cant see myself using anything but a degreaser or apc on tires.... I mean its tires! Now wheels, I can see using a dedicated wheel cleaner. If its maintained atleast monthly. You can get away using car shampoo on wheels because you gotta agitate anyways

    • @BelLavoroAutoSpa
      @BelLavoroAutoSpa  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2 birds with one stone using a wheel and tire cleaner, and less work, but more costly. I encourage everyone to stick with the method they found that works bestQ

      @@BelLavoroAutoSpa It is more work But is there extra work justified by spending 4 5 or 6 times as much money for a dedicated cleaning when you can get the same result with the APC. I'm not saying which one is greater because me myself, I have Adams wheel and tire cleaner, PNS brake buster, & chemical guys signature series wheel cleaner. All of them in gallon form. And I only have them because I just like to try new products out. But for your average person who is simple and just want their car clean... They would be satisfied with the purple power for sure. But that adams is pretty good i must say
