My question is: can you share an example of an actual VSL ad or video so I can see these 5 items in action? Or should I just look for them the next time I watch a video ad? Also I love all the extra cutaways to the funny video clips to get your point across. Super fun and definitely keeps my interest! As an auditory learner, video has always been my preferred way to engage with content!

What is the solution? “I do hv sthg that can help u and here’s how” - case study or story that keep interest 4. What is the big deal - usp, not features, why me? Must be conversational 5. What is next step? Answer doubts, any perks, concise CTA (all throughout video)

Is there a difference between referral traffic and off site SEO? Seems like back links from vendors endorsements is a form of referral traffic, eventhough it's separate from organic traffic... Hmmm..
Hey Alex, great stuff! One question though... when you cold email a potential client with a vsl ( I provide value for free first as it builds trust) what do you think the value proposition should be? WHY a VSL? stats are good... But I think a more compelling argument on how it would negate their pain would work better. What is that one thing businesses desperately want to get rid off that a vsl can help with?
It depends on the business, but some VSL benefits you can highlight are building trust and credibility, more engaging storytelling, increased awareness/recognition etc.

Quick question , do you have any experience writing VSL for people who are English as a Second Language and may not understand the finer nuances of copy written for native speakers? do you find that even writing the script in English and then translating it, would a lot of the nuances be lost since some marketing styles internationally may appeal (or not) differently?
I personally do not have experience with this, no! I would say that if you're writing a script in English then translating it, you'll DEF want a native speaker of that language to go through and make sure the nuances and everything still make sense.
