Not only did Brady win three SB's before Gronk joined the team, Gronk missed most of the 2016 season and was not playing in the playoffs. Which means there was no Gronk for the famous "28-3" win over the Falcons in SB 51.

His early Super Bowls were more team reliant and his later Super Bowls he played a bigger factor imo. In 1997 the Pats made it to the Super Bowl with Drew Bledsoe and a lot of remnants from that team, including Belichick, were part of the Pats' early dynasty with Brady.

Nah bro that’s a bad take by RG3💀 you know Tom Brady had the greatest Super Bowl comeback of all time with gronk on the sideline in sweatpants right? No one is arguing Brady didn’t benefit from gronk in unbelievable ways I mean having the greatest tight end in league history as a security blanket obviously greatly contributed to Tom’s career which is clearly shown, he is his number 1 weapon in pretty much every stat for heavens sake but Tom figured it out even when gronk was out with injury or otherwise.
I can’t say this for certain because I’m not RG3 nor do I know him personally but in my opinion trying to take that away from Tom Brady is fueled by jealousy for Tom’s extended success in the league. Though it should be noted it’s understandable. If I were a mobile QB like RG3 that had his career cut short by injuries related to his running ability I would be upset and jealous of QB’s who weren’t mobile therefore didn’t deal with those injuries and were able to sustain their body allowing them to play much longer and make much more money. But come on man… without Gronk Tom Brady still had 4 SB appearances and 3 SB wins. You don’t need to try and take that away from Tom just because he had the luxury of playing with the greatest TE in league history and for the same reason you can’t try taking anything away from gronk either. They both had unbelievable football careers and both greatly benefited from the other.

Ill applaud anyone trying to start a channel. It's a grind. However, With so many amazing podcasts already available, leave ESPN at ESPN and be true RG. Im blessed with the curse of being a 36 year old cowboys lifer but even i know Toms greatest SB wins came with "no names". Gronk is a goat in his own right. Brady won 4 of his 7 super bowls without Gronk if you count the SB where Gronk didn’t even play and the Tampa bay Super Bowl Gronk was the 4th option at best. Edelman was his only quality receiver and James White , RB , was probably his 2nd best receiver, which is not as good without Gronk . Yes , the first Four may have not have needed Gronk presence but the last 3 may have not happened in total without him . AND remember, they where down 28-3 to the falcons and in all honesty, they F-ed game up as much as the Pats and Brady played great in the 2nd Half . Just a different opinion to chew now .
