I did my first burnout in my 8th gen the other day and it felt amazing, I didn't think that a stock si could do a burnout so well and it really surprised me.
I'm still afraid to in my 9th gen , the moment I try and it spins I stop. Interestingly enough, when I used to drive my mom's Camry it was almost daily burnouts.

Sky High 9th gens, or 8th gens? Which are we/you speaking of? I was talking about 8th gens, as they are the last of the TRULY high-revving, naturally aspirated (before going turbo for 10th gen) Honda engines. The K20Z3. 8th gens redline at 8,000RPM stock, and can be raised with Flashpro/etc. I’ve e-tuned mine, and now have my redline set at 8,400RPM, where it is a bi safer. Once I have full bolt-ons and a few other supporting mods, I’ll feel safe redlining at 8,600RPM. Goal is to keep it naturally aspirated for a good while yet, while raising the redline and pull toward it. Will do cams at some point, so that I can reliably rev to 9,000RPM. That’s my goal. 😄 9th gens redline at 7,000RPM stock (please correct me if I am wrong), and you are right, they can be pushed further. I wouldn’t go past maybe 7,400RPM or so on your own, unless you have the proper supporting mods to sustain regularly redlining it higher (7,500+).
Sky High Fuel cut on a 9th gen may be 7,200, but your actual redline is 7,000rpm. People should never use their 'fuel cut' as their redline...over time, damage may occur. Stock 8th gen redline is 8,000rpm, with fuel cut at 8,200rpm. When I was completely stock with no tune, I never revved over 8,000rpm. Now that I am tuned, my new redline is 8,400rpm and fuel cut has been set up for 8,600rpm. NOT recommended to ever shift above redline, either being stock, or the new higher redline that your tuner may set. Remember...redline is redline, NOT fuel cut is redline...!

Are the bumpers stock? I have an Acura el which is the same as the 7th Gen civic with a slightly different front end, and I love how this car looks, curious if either of the bumpers are aftermarket, or maybe it just looks better cause it's so low to the ground
Still waiting for the rim spec and tires, 3 years I never brought rims for my car because noone never spec their wheels. At least the ones who has the perfect size I like. And the ones I do see in person are on 18s and ugly. Still waiting till this day so I can order the right size. 16" or 17" umm...
what was your whole exhuast system setup? planning to k20 swap my es civic but i can't find any good sounding exhaust that will fit my 7th gen when i k swap it
